Very well run establishment - staff are all very helpful, friendly and accommodating - we arrived to a well kept, clean and tidy hotel.. after explaining our reason for stay, we were upgraded to a bigger family room for our autistic 9yr old (The Barn) it was comfortable, clean and well thought out set further back on the grounds it opens out the back onto their stunning garden grounds. We made full use of the pool in the leisure centre which was very clean and lovely and warm, very peaceful atmosphere. Children swimming times before 10.30am or after 3.30pm which is great considering this is a relaxation spa also. The restaurant serves dinner from 5.30pm and rge food was delicious.. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back in the near future even though we literally only live 10 mins away. Big Shout out to Saff as she was an awesome host in the evening for the service provided at dinner and also to Brendan this morning upon check out, very friendly and smiley. You and your staff made our stay fabulous x

Birthday celebration for my mums 80th, we booked this visit back in beginning of October after making a call to the venue and being told that our table of 19 would easily be accommodated. What a disappointment on arrival instead of being sat together we were given two tables each side off double doors leading to the bar. To say my mum was disappointed was an understatement. No amount of pleading with the manager to sort it out would work snd the manageress quite honestly didn’t give a toss. The bar was understaffed and getting drinks was a long wait , the food was appalling with five mains sent back because they were so cold and the supposed trio of desserts was some terrible little plastic tubs of unknown substance and cheap cake it looked like they had raided the sales section at Tesco served on a tacky tray in the middle of the table. Overall very underwhelming and a disappointing night . I would say avoid and look elsewhere.

An evening of brilliant entertainment, food and drink. A very friendly hotel. The food was absolutely amazing and service superb. A big shout out to Katie behind the bar who was very pleasant and remembered our drinks order each time we attended the bar. Thanks for a brilliant evening. We will definitely return.

Thank you to all the staff at Hunters meet for a relaxing, fun full spa day,including afternoon tea and overnight stay for a 65th birthday, the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing and the 90s night was brilliant. The massages and facial again were amazing and the staff made sure we were all comfortable. We had the barn and conservatory which were clean and comfortable. Thank you 😊 from all 8 of us xxxx

Thank you to all the lovely staff at Hunters Meet. You made my 70th Birthday celebration so very special, giving us plenty of time at our table to thoroughly enjoy the afternoon cream tea and catch up with everyone's news in person. You kept our tea and coffee pots refreshed aswell as drinks from the bar🍸 We all enjoyed it very much, thank you. Hubby and I stayed overnight and loved the swimming pool and steam room followed by a very nice breakfast.

We have used the Hunters Meet for many years for family celebrations. Without fail the team are always amazing and attentive, and the food always great. I cannot recommend these lovely restaurant enough. The hotel and spa facilities are exceptional

Would highly recommend Hunters Meet we had our wedding here and my hen do with Fanny Galore both were amazing team are so helpful and friendly we had lots of problems leading up to our big day and we explained this all to the staff at hunters meet and they made sure our day went perfect and that it was can not thank them enough.

9 of us had the set price lunch menu. Very poor quality. Steak pie pastry was like cardboard. Difficult to cut because it was so bendy. Others thought their meals weren't good. All said their meals were luke warm. Dirty water glasses had to be sent back. Won't be going again. Not recommended.
