Excellent service, welcome and food. Only downside was an errant fire alarm and the exit sign in the room was exceptionally bright! The outdoor drinking/dining space is very good for Hathersage.

Very pleasant pub, quality dinner and breakfast, an extra cup of coffee would have been nice, excellent atmosphere in the evening with a quiz game for regulars
