"Touristic" ryokan with spacious but totally empty rooms without a hint of decoration. Poor breakfast and small ugly public bath. But it's not expensive and it's a wonderful island anyway.

The hotel is 20+ min walk from the pier, and is located right opposite the aquarium. You can call the hotel to arrange for a pickup from the pier, and they can send you off on the day of departure too. The dinner and breakfast are ok, I had better ones at other ryokans. The onsen is disappointing as it only has an indoor section.
