"Lovely, special place with a truly lovely, accommodating staff. I don't remember everyone's names (apologies!) but the reception staff is top notch...Benjamin's great laugh, combined with how he avails himself to help out guests, makes him all the more memorable. The best thing about the breakfast buffet is Chef Sam's omelets and, again, that pervasive desire to accommodate. While no exercise equipment of any kind disappoints, this is worth checking out. I have returned here on many an occasion....and will continue to."

"“Our stay at Hotel Du Bollenberg was deeply disappointing. Despite making a reservation by phone and following up by email, the hotel claimed upon arrival that they had no record of our booking. The receptionist gave us the blame that the rservation went wrong, not a word of apologies or sorry. In her credit, dhe found us a room, however, the room was extremely small, the so-called ‘swimming pool’ turned out to cost an additional €30 per hour, and instead of receiving helpful service, we were made to feel as if the problem was ours. Overall, a frustrating and unprofessional experience that negatively affected our trip.”"

"We stayed two nights with my 11-month-old daughter. It's a 25-minute drive from Colmar. We were happy with our stay. Breakfast was more substantial, but it was reasonable compared to other places. We paid 12 euros per person, and that's enough to have a coffee and a croissant outside. So, this is a good choice for breakfast. My wife used the pool, and it was clean. They provided a crib when we requested one. The staff is friendly. I recommend it to anyone who comes here. (It's a bit dated, but not bad.)"
