Above all, the facilities were really clean and excellent."

Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed both our stay at the hotel and the dining experience. "A 3-night stay right in the city center, opposite the ferry terminal, was ideal for exploring everything on foot. The nearby public parking was very convenient and offered at a discounted rate through the hotel. The room was comfortable with a functional bathroom. The complimentary tea and coffee tray was a nice touch."

"Booked dinner….arrived and was told we had to sit on stools at a counter. very smiling staff where so sorry that the booking wasn’t acceptable but take it or leave it. its 8.00 pm on a freezing night…. Offered the casual dinning room…very attentive waiter … food only 3 star 10 chefs and my chicken was like undercooked rubber…. And I tasted the difference between what my wife ordered and I received ( same choice)But I got a free coffee In my younger days I’d have a row but now … brother it’s your arrogant smiling loss. It shows you how easy it is to screw up a good brand….we will never use 4 seasons facilities anywhere. Young staff feel if they are smiling and “ oh I’m so sorry” that’s that is the end of the matter… well it isn’t…they have lost two high rollers that travel off peak…. For ever ….you only screw us once. Never let any client walk out unhappy they talk bad about you for ever."

"What to tell you? Maybe the best explanation is, that this hotel (or this type of the rooms) was not my ‘cup of tea’ First avoid attic rooms. They are not the same (smaller) like normal floor rooms. Also you will need time to learn how to deal with roof windows. There is no any privacy in the bathroom, everything is open. When you use toilet, in different room you must wash your hands… simply everything is complicated. Breakfast was only ok. The people there, are very kind and extremely professional. Also location of the hotel is perfect, next to the old city of a beautiful Megève."

"Eleven of us had the pleasure of spending 4 nights in the beautiful Chalet Eustache at the Alpaga Hotel in Megeve in January 2024. Before we arrived Emily and team had done a wonderful job in going above and beyond to organize everything at the hotel, transfers, restaurant bookings, ski hire and the likes so huge thanks to her. This theme of extremely friendly and attentive staff continued as we arrived and throughout our stay with all the staff making us feel very welcome and huge thanks to Julian who also went above and beyond to drive us around, organize items for us. The hotel itself is in a lovely location and as described is pretty much a small hamlet of interconnected chalets, gardens and main buildings. All very stylishly decorated and furnished and very well presented throughout. The hotel is away from Megeve town though and does require a shuttle bus journey for skiing and restaurants in town in the evening. Contrary to some of the other reviews we never had a problem in the shuttle turning up multiple times when requested although we were out of season. Chalet Eustache was a delight to stay in and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our time. The chalet itself is a lovely mix of traditional wooden style that you would expect in a ski resort but wonderfully complemented with modern furnishings, large balconies and lounge / dining areas as you would expect. The pool area, hammam, outside jacuzzi & sauna were wonderful additions and staff were on hand to look after us whenever we needed. The La Table restaurant did a great job of catering for the various food intolerances across our group and the staff were always at hand as needed. The Michelin restaurant experience was a definite delight & the sommelier and waitresses made it a very enjoyable and friendly evening with some amazing, if not different food courses! The only criticisms we would mention were that the breakfast staff could do with being a bit more organised & writing down all the orders so not to lose track, and that the front reception desk really needs to be manned at all times, but again we were there in a quiet time of the year. All in all it was a great hotel in Megeve, with wonderful people and service. Please keep up the good work and cant wait to come back again with the family!! Huge thanks & see you again."

"The breakfast selection is very good. However, it’s really disappointing that guests are not allowed to take even a single bottle of Evian water to the table, but are only served by the glass. Especially here in Evian, where the water originates, this seems quite unusual. „Das Frühstücksangebot ist qualitativ sehr gut. Umso unverständlicher ist es, dass Gästen nicht gestattet wird, eine Flasche Evian-Wasser mit an den Tisch zu nehmen – stattdessen wird ausschliesschlich gestattet nur gläserweise Wasser einzuschenken. Gerade in Evian, dem Ursprungsort dieses Wassers, wirkt diese Praxis sehr befremdlich.“"

"Had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Lyret in Chamonix. The location is excellent—just a short walk to both the cable car and the train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and accessing the main attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. One of the highlights was definitely the view from the room—absolutely stunning and made the stay feel extra special. The staff were also very helpful and friendly throughout the stay. They were always ready to assist and made everything smooth and welcoming. Overall, a fantastic choice if you’re visiting Chamonix, especially for the location and the beautiful views."
