This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel when working in Hawthorne. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. While the rooms are not a 5 star resort, they are clean, and there is also a small fridge and microwave.

We were certainly worried for safety but everything was fine. ( seemed like sketchy characters in the area) The AC/Heating unit was quite noisy with some bothersome noises, that kept waking us through the night. The room was very clean and tidy, the bed very very comfortable, the desk person was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would/will stay again

A fantastic place to stay. Large room, comfy bed and lot of pillows, large fridge and freezer and a microwave. Clean room and friendly staff. The burger and fries and green slad from the El Capitan is the way to go too!

Arrive and told the type of room we booked wasn't available. Front desk wanted to charge us for upgrade room. Took time for them figure it out.

I need access to room early and I check out early. I have never been denied access to A room early because of extenuating circumstances and I understand it can present a bit of a hardship. This management would not even entertain the idea of early registration. My frustration wasn’t only that they said they couldn’t meet my need, it was the way they handled it. I mask every time I go indoors. Health reasons. I was led to believe they didn’t even WANT to help me by the way they communicated this to me. If it were the case of not being able to accommodate me, they could have allowed me to register elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend this motel just for the salty old negative people managing it.

City girl here .. have stayed in many hotels, New York, Los Angeles, Utah, Colorado, etc .. sorry but paid way too much for the quality and condition. I almost tripped down the stairs due to condition.

Alisha, at the front desk was very helpful. I really appreciate her help. The beds are comfortable, room is clean and the best hot water with great pressure.
Oh, and for me which is super important due to working on the road, the wifi is excellent.
I definitely recommend this property is you're in the area.
