I have been to Hay many times but this was my first stay at the Radnor House. Certainly won’t be the last!! The room was lovely and very inviting. The bed was super comfy and wonderfully dressed. Even with Covid restrictions still in place, we felt warmly welcomed and really appreciated the terrific communication with the owner. Outstanding location very close to the main car park as well. Thank you, David, for a great stay and we look forward to coming back!

Radnor House is a beautifully curated space where everything is well thought-through, and extremely comfortable, without being overly fussy. We were delighted with our bedroom (no. 1). It was large and very pretty - the bed itself particularly comfortable. The beautiful bath is a treat. Breakfast was delicious - perfect portions and all very fresh and presented with great care. David was very helpful in suggesting places to eat ahead of our arrival (we ate at Chapters and The Griffin at Felin Fach, both superb, but wherever you choose, book!) , and again with ideas for wonderful walks along the river and also up hills for picture-perfect views. The area has an enormous amount to offer - it is breathtakingly beautiful, and we had a great time exploring - both Hay and the beautiful lanes and villages nearby. I'm usually really happy to be heading home when we've been away, but I could have easily stayed for longer here. I really hope we'll return soon.

Very flat well laid out site. Great clean showers and toilets with disabled access as well. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good views and there is a footpath from site into Hay to avoid walking along very busy road. Great views around site. We were pitched near the road which was very noisy, not the fault of site obviously however it would be nice if when allocating pitches there is some consideration of the fact that tents have absolutely no sound insulation and allocate pitches further away from road whenever possible. Although the site is lovely I doubt we will go again as there is a holiday home development planned ready for next season which we think will spoil the quiet nature of the site. Also we weren't that taken with Hay much preferring Breacon, which we also visited.

Lovely comfortable room right on top of all that Hay has to offer. Only negative was that there were no biscuits with the tea/coffee and found it difficult to mange the shower head without a shower screen or shower curtain.

The campsite is well run, lots of space and the most amazing washrooms. The site has just been taken over this year and so the pot wash is not in place, but hopefully in plcae for next season. It is well laid out, not too many people but best of all, not cramped in. Because I was there for the Hay Festival, they opened up some electric pitches. About a 15 minute walk to town meant a really convenient location. Will definitely visit again. Great place to stay

One of the best camping sites we have visited. Site is immaculately kept, plenty of room between pitches, washing up facilities, fridge and freezer available. Showers and toilets were 5 star, as was the disabled facilities. Will definitely return for another visit.
