We recently held our football team’s end of season presentation at Mill Rythe, and we couldn’t fault a single thing. The children had an amazing time enjoying the party package, swimming pool, soft play area, and delicious food. We were also given exclusive use of the venue for two hours to host our presentation, which made the event feel extra special. The team at Mill Rythe were absolutely brilliant, friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating throughout. Everything ran smoothly, and the atmosphere was perfect for celebrating the team’s achievements. A huge thank you to everyone involved. We had a great time and are already looking forward to future events at Mill Rythe!

2nd trip here. This time with friends staying in a Nature Reserve Lodge with hot tub. The lodge was stunning with amazing views, the only trouble we had was one of the beds broke in the twin room just after we arrived and a guest sat on it. Called guest services and someone came and fixed it pretty well. He can't have done a very good job as at around 3am that night the guest fell through it while sleeping. After that she slept somewhere else rather than risk sleeping on it again the 2nd night. Not really what you expect when paying over £600 for the accommodation for 2 nights. Disappointed that I couldn't order food the first night in the green room. I went up on the stage to take part in a games show and didn't manage to complete the order on the app before I went up. It was 10 past 9 when I sat back down, completed the order then someone came over and said they would have to refund it as the kitchen had closed. There were no other options apart from ordering to the lodge from somewhere off site. For me I would expect to be able to get some sort of food all evening at a holiday park, even if just a pizza or something. There isn't a lot in the shop either in terms of supplies. The breakfast was really nice although the coffee machine was broken and the filter coffee wasn't good. All in all a nice break, the entertainment was fun and the lodge and surrounding area was lovely.

Wonderful welcoming staff, call the day before to let us know where are accommodation was, warm welcome upon arrival, spoke to the children so nicely! Faultless accommodation, spotlessly clean, we stayed in a pet lodge - without any pets, no smell or sign a pet had ever been in there! The children were thrilled with their spacious bedroom as were my husband and I. Wonderfully comfy beds! Spotless kitchen - we cooked each night. The children loved the play park and splash park! It was fabulous. Such a lovely peaceful calming area to be. We use Lidl and the Farm for all of our food. You MUST go to make your own milkshake! Gorgeous place - thanks so much!

Wonderful clean site, in a picturesque location . The staff all seem happy to be working at this site and nearly all are friendly and helpful. The site’s drawbacks are its almost non existent clubhouse opening hours, which is a pity as it’s a lovely clubhouse. I strongly believe that from March onwards the club should be open between 12-2 daily for both food and drinks. The one meal we did have on site was delicious but ruined by being covered in Mayonnaise. The site is well worth visiting but bring your own food, club will probably be closed and there is no shop on site . We stayed in a 2 bed luxury van which was clean and warm, but far inferior to the 3 bed luxury vans, so even if only want 2 rooms I suggest booking the 3 bed van

We are just back from a 2 night stay in one of the Oakwoods to celebrate a birthday. The Oakwood was lovely and we enjoyed the hot tub, although it wasn't at temp until 9.30pm the first night so don't plan to go in it as soon as you arrive. The beds were comfy and the kitchen well equipped for cooking, the dishwasher is great to not have to wash up after. We were a little disappointed with the lack of facilities on the park, I understand it's out of season but I would expect to still be able to get something to eat on site, had I realised the kitchen would be closed on both days/nights of our stay (Tues/Weds) I don't think I would have booked. I was told it states the kitchen being closed on the website but I couldn't find anywhere it said that and wasn't aware when I booked. As it is a holiday park I assumed you would be able to get at least a meal there. There are a few pubs fairly close by to eat at but not really in walking distance. There is a really good farm shop close by where you can get nice fresh ingredients if you want to cook.

This was our first visit to Mill Rythe and we loved it. We stayed in a caravan which I think is the cheapest option and it was absolutely fine. The beds are not the most comfortable if you like a big firm bed, and there's not a lot of storage for bags and clothes. However, it was spotlessly clean, the shower was hot and powerful, the TV was good quality, the kitchen has everything you need for a short break away. It was also lovely and warm. The staff here all seemed really happy and friendly which helps to make the holiday. Our son loved the kids entertainment in the early evenings and we made use of the soft play and swimming pool. The soft play is dated but nice and big and our little one absolutely loved it. The swimming pool is also a bit dated with very limited changing areas. However it's so warm and again, our little one absolutely loved it. Remember to book your slot as soon as you can prior to your holiday. Hayling Island is beautiful and has plenty to do. We enjoyed the beach, the funfair and the steam train. We also had a cooked breakfast at the Missing Squirrel which was delicious. All dietary requirements catered for. The Green Room bar is really lovely too. All in all a very good value enjoyable holiday and we will definitely be returning. A big thank you to all the team.

The park itself is lovely, the lodges and the styling, with the sea/beach theme is really nice. Most of the staff are really nice and helpful, when I tried to explain the issues with the app and booking being confusing to one of the receptionist, she just seemed to be aware but not that bothered, “yeah sometimes it does that”, “it’s fully booked, not broken”, however the entertainment staff are great. We were somewhat let down by the communication given I feel. The app isn’t the greatest, food ordering terrible, you either can’t get it loaded or when it does it gets sent to wrong table (if made at all) and then other people eat it. Schedule of your bookings isn’t in time order, so that’s quite frustrating if you have multiple things booked. Information like, How do you use the key fob for the lodge, how do you open/lock the door would be good to have. Also how do you turn the hot tub on or troubleshooting why won’t it turn on. There was a solitary QR code by tub but it sends you to an unknown internet page - not helpful. The advertised soft play hours are not correct, so perhaps double check before planning time there. The splash pad was nice, kids always seemed to be around outside running around it and playing. Overall it was a nice break and we would probably go again.

Excellent stay in a nature reserve lodge Very clean with comfortable bed and soft furnishings . Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher (3 tablets provided) We loved the hot tub and peacefulness of the nature area Did not use the pool, soft play or bar so cannot comment on those We made a change to a future booking and Claire was extremely helpful Excellent recycling facilities and a Lidl 3 min drive away We booked a further two trips in the same style lodge while on site as we were so pleased

Beautiful nature scenery & relaxing here , having a lovely break here at Away resorts been to Apple tree which is near us they both have the same high standards and friendly team and delicious food , there’s so many walks to go on with loads natural beauty to see also Butlins near too for day visits , we been staying in the shadow wood accommodation with hot tub all nice and clean only issue we’ve had is dust but it does blow in with big doors open , we have tryed the catch 22 menu which was delicious and good value for the money , also did dogy activities like dogy painting the team are all friendly and care about your experience it’s a brand new park with a new area being built the other side but it clearly advertised before you come where the building work is and it’s on the map too , but it hasn’t affected where we are , we visited uppark house & garden ( national trust site ) which was lovely to walk about and have lunch there , absolutely love Away Resorts so much better than other caravan parks it’s got a lot nicer and posher feel to it and it’s basically the same price but you get a hot tub , and stuff included like washing up pack bin bags a dogy box’s and towels so you get more for your money , honestly if you want a relaxing holiday come here it’s perfect there are kids onsite with entertainment but it’s not all over the top and cheap like other places , the other guests are lovely too .
