Overall good place to stay and location. I am very happy with the 1 night stay. If really want to fussy, I would said the wifi system is complicated by asking me key in room number and last name at end customer not found error. At end the receptionist provided me visitor password instead. Other than that all are very good with big room big space nice location.

Great location. Very close to Chinatown where there's plenty of food options available even late at night. Paddy's market is just 5 mins away and CBD is about 15 mins walk. Friendly people in the front office. Very attentive. Awesome housekeepers. Always smiling and greeting customers.

Stayed for a quick, one night getaway. Hotel has been recently upgraded to a stylish, comfortable standard. We booked a king room, which was clean, quiet and had everything needed for a short stay. The bed was extremely comfortable with high grade linens. The bathroom, while compact, was renovated to a high standard. The shower pressure was good and the provided toiletries were good quality. The front desk staff are such lovely people, who went out of their way to make sure everything was ok, and tell us about the renovations. They are obviously proud of their establishment. This hotel is right next door to the Capitol Theatre and a short 5 minute walk from Central Station. The Light Rail stop is a 1 minute walk from the front door. We will quite happily stay here again.

We've stayed here several times because of the location and apartments. However the bed we had in the standard one bedroom was pretty awful, more like one you'd find in a Sydney backpackers hostel. We also stayed three nights in an executive' apartment. The bed again was below par. We spoke to the manager and they did do their best to make the bed more comfortable. The apartments are spacious and everything else was great.

A great place to stay near Light Rail, Chinatown, Central, and shopping. Our room was excellent, and we found the reception staff always welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. It is an excellent hotel for location, for guests who may have difficulty walking up and down sloping streets, as it is in a comparably level area.

Our previous trip staying in Novotel Sydney for 9 days was unpleasant as the room cleaning was always not done and have to constantly calling the housekeeper to send the staffs to clean it.
This trip during the Hotel Check in , I’ve brought it up to the counter staff, and we don’t face the same issues like last trip.
During our 7 days staying, 1st day hotel sent the complementary fruits/cheese platter to our rooms. And the most important that our both room was cleaned, towel changed, etc.
out 1st nite, we have a splendid dinner at St Thomas Kitchen in the hotel. The steaks was nicely done, the side dishes and desserts was great !
Have ordered room service for burger and salad, tast good and food delivery was fast.
Will stays there again for our next trip.

Loved Room 504. Spacious,for an inner-city hotel. Loved the lights,and how the floor light comes on when you step into the bathroom! Beautiful bathroom. Refillable toiletries. Loved the the little seat/table at the foot of the bed and the lovely mantelpiece. Love how no plastic bags are used in the wastepaper baskets. Thank you for the upgrade,bottle of wine for our anniversary and the late check-out (2.00pm!) Most generous! Delicious dinner and breakfast in Bar Morris - what a gorgeous space! One of the best hostels we’ve ever been to! Located less than a 5min walk away from Sydney Central station, you can’t expect a better location than this especially if you’re traveling. There’s also a light rail station right in front of the door of the building.
About the hostel itself, it has everything you can possibly dream of: a bar, a restaurant, and even a pool! Alongside the usual commodities such as a laundry room, a kitchen, etc.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is also really clean and welcoming; it doesn’t feel creepy at all (some cheap hostels sometimes do).
The room we stayed in was a 4-bed mixed dorm, it was so spacious, had a huge window, one locker per bed and even a small table and stall! One detail we absolutely loved was the curtains surrounding the beds that you can close for more privacy.
If we had to find a downside, it’d probably be that breakfast isn’t included (14 added AUD) but other than that, it’s a very convenient place that‘s a great value for money.

I hadn’t originally booked this hotel, ending up here after I couldn’t check-in to my booked hotel due to their system failure. However, I was glad that I ended up here as my stay at Central Studio Hotel turned out to be excellent. A highlight is the staff - they’re super friendly and helpful. The room was very good, being spacious and with all the amenities I needed. Location is excellent, being at Railway Square next to Central Railway Station. There’s also a handy laundromat just around the corner, and plenty of nearby dining options.

Location: Great! Close to everything Facilities: no ironing board that’s readily available for guests. Long walk to the toilet passing through people in dining, kitchen and living… awkward. Elevator was broken. Reception was a mess with linen skips all over the place but the receptionist was extremely friendly! Experience: I booked a room for myself. Didn’t realized, until I get their, that the room was bare with only a bed and a bedside table. No toilet. No table or chair in the room. I could bring a friend in but I didn’t coz you walk through a corridor passing through the kitchen, dining and living area. You can hear people talk whilst in your room. Overall: I will come back if I want to save money but never if I want privacy and peace of mind. Was it worth it? I’d prefer to pay extra just to get my privacy. This place is for backpackers. They offer a single room but it is extremely disappointing. I booked a room thinking I’d feel different but it was pretty much, a backpacker experience, not that I am against that… but wasn’t expecting. Ultimate, the room was spacious but bare. Just a bed, bedside table and clothing rack. No cabinets even!

The room is large and equipped with a stove, dining table, coffee machine, pots, tableware, washing machine, and dryer. It is very convenient and comfortable for our 10-day stay. There are a variety of restaurants nearby, including Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese and Western. It is within walking distance to department stores and shopping malls.

GGuest UserClean hostel with friendly staff. Rooms were spacious with large lockers for each occupant and personal plugs and bed side lights in a great position. Showers/toilets on each floor and I never had to wait to use them. Downside is that you can hear the music from their basement club even on the 6th floor until late into the night. Didn’t bother me as I was only there a few nights and I managed to get enough sleep. Kitchen is WAY too small for amount of guests in the hostel. The social events put on by the hostel were a good way to meet people as a solo female traveller.

GGuest UserI was trying to find a comfortable bed at George 790 and I slept. George 790 is two minutes away from Sydney Central Station. The hotel is clean and tidy, as is the shared shower and toilet! Air conditioning is on (20 degrees Celsius) and I met two lovely tourists in the 4-person girls' dorm - one from Boston and the other from Denmark - who won bronze in the Adelaide Surf Life Saving competition! Also, I found a Chinese restaurant with a halal meat service just below it!!! Unfortunately, I couldn’t connect to their free wi-fi at night.

GGuest UserWas at Maze hostel from the 13th August for about 1 month and absolutely loved my time there and was so sad to leave. Became great friends with Joni within the first few days of being there and she made me feel so comfortable to approach her with anything I needed. Thanks to all 3 event managers Joni, Matteo and Lautaro for making it so much fun every single day. I recommend this hostel to anyone while this event team is here!

AAREUMThe location was great. Pitt St is right next door, but the alley where the hotel is located is quiet. There is an Indonesian supermarket right next door that stocks some Korean products. There was a Korean staff member at the hotel, so communication was very easy, and since I arrived at 7 a.m., I needed to store my luggage, and they kindly helped me. However, you have to wait a long time at check-in/check-out time. There are a lot of people, but there are only 1-2 employees... The facilities are a bit old, but there is no problem at all with your stay. Many tools such as toasters and kitchen utensils are provided. Even a microwave.
