Niru Isle Maldives

With my wife and my 5 year old son we stayed a week at NIRU, we returned yesterday but still with in our hearts the kindness, the availability and the attention given to us by all the staff. Given the unseasonal rains we had decided to postpone our arrival at the last minute but despite this they immediately made themselves available understanding our need. Guest house on a human scale, clean, quiet, positioned close to the palm trees in the southern part of the island, we had the room on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the island where we could relax in the evening. Landing in Malè we met their emissary who confirmed the meeting at 3pm for the speedy boat (1h) arrived on the island with the electric caddies they accompanied us to the structure where they welcomed us with coconuts to quench our thirst from the journey. A special applause to Hashan the chef always kind and available, being the only guests to enjoy full board we had the honor of tasting numerous dishes both local and Sri Lankan and Indian; I would like to point out to those reading that we specifically asked to avoid Italian dishes since when we travel we like to immerse ourselves in the traditions of our host countries, particularly loving Asian cuisine. Pasta and pizza could have been waiting for us (without rushing) when we returned to Italy, but the first evening we tried them and I must say that they had nothing to envy to those we eat on the national territory. Jade has organized with extreme perfection several excursions including snorkeling, sunset fishing and swimming with sharks. Several restaurants and bars scattered along the island, an equipped bikini beach reachable in a few minutes.

The island is beautiful, small enough to be explored on foot and inhabited by welcoming and sociable people! The Niru Isle guest house where we spent 15 days is family-run, everything was perfect and we didn't miss anything. The welcome at the airport, the management of transport with the boat to Gaafaru and the transport with their electric car from the port to Niru isle (name of the guest House) allowed us to reach Gaafaru safely. In the room the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning with mini fridge allowed us to sleep very well. The food prepared by Hashan was fantastic and above all different every day (comparing with other Italians staying in other guest houses, some complained of always eating the same things, at Niru we ate very well thanks to Hashan!), obviously dishes prepared with local products and fresh. Whatever you want, they do everything to please you and they succeed! The bikini beach is beautiful and equipped with sunbeds available to everyone and there is no need to say it but the sea is incredible, the excursions are very interesting and exciting (swim with sharks, snorkelling, dolphin watching, very romantic dinner on the beach !) managed impeccably! It was a wonderful 15 days, don't be afraid of getting bored on this island, it won't happen!! Thanks to all the Niru staff for making our holiday in the Maldives unforgettable!
