Scandic Grand Marina

The location was good. The receptionists were very cold/unfriendly. I really dislike the policy of this hotel chain where check-in is from 4 PM onwards. In the past, your room was ready by 12 PM. The price is the same, but you get worse service. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

Despite two requests, the hotel was unable to fix the loose toilet seat.

A decent Nordic hotel, good in all aspects, recommended.

The bathroom had cobwebs and there was mold on the room floor. The location is good, but the hotel is quite dated.

The hotel is a bit dated but was spotlessly clean. It's conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal. Nearby attractions such as Senate Square, the Synagogue, and the historic market are all within a 10-15 minute stroll. Our room had a comfortable bed, and we appreciated the complimentary sauna. The breakfast was outstanding – very generous and delicious, highly recommended. A minor point for improvement was the check-in process: Upon arriving around 11:30 AM, we were informed that our room was ready, but only if we paid an extra €20 for early check-in. Otherwise, it would be available at 1 PM as part of our standard booking. Also, in July, the air conditioning in our attic room struggled to keep the room cool.
