The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the train station. The building itself is old, but the interior design is beautiful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I was very satisfied with my first stop in Helsinki.

The hotel is actually right next to the train station. The restaurant kitchen is adjacent to the platforms. If you take the airport line to Central Station, you can exit through the side door, turn into the hotel garden entrance, and you're right in the lobby – no need to use the main entrance and stairs. The hotel lobby, rooms, and room hallways are all very stylish. The Finnish sauna facilities are just okay. Right outside the hotel's main entrance, you'll find bus and tram stops, plus several 24-hour supermarkets, making it very convenient for shopping and getting around.

Good location. We walked from Stockholm ferry and we took bolt to Tallinn ferry. Walking distance to centre of town. Early check in not allowed so left suitcases and went for lunch. Big hotel. Long walk to room. Breakfast was good. Green smoothies etc. breakfast room was big so even if crowded, people come and go so no problem.

The hotel is good but too huge to maneuver. The board outside doesn’t mention Scandic & therefore difficult to find. To enter the hotel, you have to climb stairs which is uncomfortable with luggage. A simple ramp could solve problem.  Breakfast is great & centrally located.

Very nice and comfy hotel. Superb location. Near to everywhere u need and want. However no hotel phone in the room which makes room requests Abit troublesome. But overall a very worth stay!
