Here's the peace you've been searching for. Beautifully situated. Lovingly curated. A comfy guestroom that will leave you wondering why you don't have this stuff at home. Inviting common areas inside and out. Fireplaces. Easy walking paths and adjacent to a large preserve that runs along the San Pedro Riparian and river. BBQ grills, shaded areas and feeders. Delish breakfast. A complimentary selection of pies(5!), cookies, coffees and teas are available throughout the day. Birds aplenty, a star-filled sky to blow your mind at night. The hosts/owners aim to make you happy. Many of the guests were regulars. Absolutely make a reservation. No place is perfect, alas 4 instead of 5 because the pool and hot tub were closed. Nevermind, I'd return in a heartbeat. ADA. Priced competetively. 1.5 hours from Tucson. Airport service available for hire in the area.

We stayed here for several nights during a birding trip in S. AZ. It is small, about 10 rooms, and well situated in Hereford for trips to Ash Canyon, Ramsey Canyon and other birding areas, as well as within a short walk of the San Pedro River. We did not see its grounds at their best, since we were there in January, with the added benefit of an unusual cold snap which depressed temps well below the usual - one morning the hotel thermometer read 9 degrees F! IN warmer weather the grounds, with their feeders and pond, as well as access to the nearby river will probably offer a fair number of birds even without leaving the premises. The rooms were spacious and clean, all facing the interior courtyard which would probably have been quite enjoyable absent the astonishing weather:) The communal spaces were very pleasant, and the communal family-style dining area was pleasant and accommodated all of the guests without crowding. The food was very good, with varied and delicious food for both dinner and breakfast, and my special dietary requests were accommodated without any fuss. Our two hosts were welcoming and always willing to assist, whether it was help finding the laundry, special diets, or just questions about the local area. Rumor has it that they are looking to sell, and I sincerely hope they find people who will carry on their tradition of eco-centered hospitality on the Southern border. My only caution about this place is the location - if you stay here you have to really want to be out birding, hiking or whatever, since there is absolutely no surrounding town, shops etc unless you want to drive about 30 min.

A very comfortable, serene, accessible location for our initial visit to SE AZ. The San Pedro River basin is a major flyway and birdwatching is the pastime of most guests. We found the Casa an ideally located base from which to explore all of Cochise County. The very hospitable staff got us going with a tasty breakfast and we ended each day sampling their famous pies before settling down into a most comfortable, quiet . Patrick, one of the owners, handled the details that made our visit memorable. Dining options are very limited with the best operating only for a few nights.

The best place we stayed in our week of birding in AZ. The rooms were lovely and the bed great! The breakfast was huge! Five selections of pie available at any time! And the bonus was a fabulous trail along the San Pedro river full of birds! Be sure to put this B&B on your list!

I love the place and wish it were mine. The hosts are the best, thoughtful and warm. The breakfasts are delicious with a variety of choices. They always have tomato juice for me because they know I like it. They bake pies every day which are divine. We keep going back because we really enjoy being there. The guests are always so interesting and fun to get to know.

Oh my goodness, there is not enough words to describe how immeasurably wonderful this place is. The Breakfasts are amazing. We were there for over a week. Each one began with fresh fruit and a pastry, excellent coffee, and juice and then moved on to an wonderful main course. Not once did we have a repeat! And then there was pie and pastry/cookies treats available throughout the day. But it wasn't the food that was the most excellent, it was the entire hospitality, knowledge of the hosts, and surrounding area. The property is exactly located so that we could 'base camp' and travel within minutes to less than an hour to incredible places of rich diversity. From mountain hikes, to river side rambles to quaint birding hot spots to significant historical sites; the doors of the Casa de San Pedro opened to adventures. But a person would not even have to leave the property to experience serene places to read books, take a short ramble, walk a labyrinth or simply sit and have morning, evening and afternoon tea. Book as many days as possible for a stay at this little bit of sanctuary in the midst of the Sky Islands of Arizona.

We had such a lovely time at Casa de San Pedro. Patrick and Carl are wonderful. We were there for birding which is a great area. The food was delicious and they made a special New Year’s dinner. Maybe put away the cakes and pie as that added pounds to our Enjoyment.

Our stay at Casa de San Pedro was delightful. We had a very clean, peaceful and welcoming environment. The main house is beautifully furnished with comfortable groupings that allow individuals to join a group or choose alone time. Bird watching outside of almost every window, combined with beautiful views were a plus. Our time outside the house was equally welcoming. The conservation mindset is well demonstrated by the property design. Karl and Patrick will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. All of that and a truly delicious breakfast make this our new favorite Bed and Breakfast.
