On the Cliff Guest House

Just fantastic. Hermanus is a beautiful little place anyhow but with a stay at “On the Cliff” the trip was topped off perfectly. I’ve never had such an extensive breakfast in all of my travels which really kick started my day. Thank you.

Such a lovely stay at On the Cliffs. Watching whales breach from our bed was truly amazing. A lovely welcome from everyone, beautifully comfortable rooms, unbelievable views, afternoon tea waiting, cosy bar and brilliant breakfast. Cannot fault it, highly recommend.

We found it a wonderful experience staying at On The Cliff Guesthouse The location and accommodation quality speak for themselves. There is an immediate wow factor which remains with you throughout your time there and in our memories for long afterwards. In addition, the whole experience is enhanced by the wonderful hospitality and individual attention by the manager to ensure each persons stay is the best she can possibly make it. Delightfully comfortable and ideally situated on top of the Cliff with a short 5 minute drive into town this Guest House was perfect for a weeks stay in Hermanus. The breakfast was excellent and the host was welcoming and helpful. There is plenty of secure parking, an honesty bar and lovely pool to relax by. One nice little touch was complementary afternoon tea with delicious home made cakes. The room was amazing and I would hight recommend this delightful property

We had a really lovely one night stay in this wonderful guest house. The host, is really lovely, friendly and helpful. Our bedroom/suite was clean, comfortable along with lovely views. Freshly prepared breakfast… Plenty of parking next to the property. A 5 minute drive to The Rock Restaurant - really recommend.

Friendly host, great accomodation with the best view ever. We observed sunrise just from our beds, excellent breakfast and afternoon tea time.

We were recommended this lovely guest house by people who had stayed a few months before we were looking for somewhere to stay. Charmaine gave us great advise when we were looking to book. Stunning location on a quiet road overlooking the ocean. Most comfortable bed ever, caused us being late for breakfast as we slept better than ever. Lucky was wonderful ensuring we had everything we needed. Breakfast will set you up for the full day, wonderful home made delicious food. Easy walks along the cliff paths opposite the house especially when you encounter the Dassies. Have recommended to others we met on our tour of South Africa. Sue & Eric
