Heronissos Hotel

Best hotel in town. Very friendly staff, professional service. The All inclusive menu is large with many options in the restaurant and at the bar. Staff always willing to assist and solve any kind of issues. The hotel is at the best location, everything is around. The village is very lovely. We enjoyed every moment of our holidays inside or outside the hotel.

We went on an all inclusive package with sunweb for 5 days. When we arrived we had to wait a short time until the room was ready. The meals were very diverse and quite fresh. !also a lot of vegetarian options available which was nice! We were placed at a room with pool view first, but since there was a surprise event in the evening with very loud music and loud neighbours, we requested a new room the next morning. The issue was resolved quickly and the customer service was amazing. Note: the room doors are quite thin so noise in the hallway is more noticeable. All the amenities were nice and the bar even had included cocktails !!! Also note that just like most all inclusive hotels, the pool chairs were claimed first thing in the morning. So be ready to run for a spot. They also had an in house car rental arrangement, so no need to go into cherso to rent at a random spot. All in all, great holiday!! Would come again if i get room 222

Highly recommend this hotel. Nothing is too much for the staff and they are so friendly. Check the hotel website directly to choose your room as some holiday companies do bundle deals that could be misleading and I can see this on some reviews. Me and my family will definitely be coming back to stay here hence the 5 stars.

We decided the last minute to go for a long weekend holiday with my friends, and we chose this hotel after reading the comments here! So we agree with all the nice reviews! There you can enjoy the best holiday in this so amazing island! The location of the hotel is so easy to go to the beach, center and nightlife! But the most important for our holiday was the hospitality of the personal there! Everyone wants to help you with many suggestions and ideas! We recommend this place.

My review is based on true racts and not on my feelings. I stayed with my family in the hotel last summer and we all fell in love with the place.For me and my family (12 pesrons)was really and honestly an unforgettable experience. But my review is based on facts. The hotel is a four star hotel in the city center and next to the beach. A nice combination since all activities are within a very short walking distance. That is precious for a family with children and seniors. The hotel obviously is in renovation progress and we are suprised that many reviews point out of that the hotel looks tired. The hotel is an old building but all areas have been moderny and beautiful renovated. There are rooms not renovated for which you pay less and there are fully renovated rooms. Before booking take your time and choose the one you prefer. The food is very tastefull and there are choices for all. Please remember you book an All inclusive hotel and not a gourmet restaurant. The external area is large with many sunbeds and a lot of style. You might find difficult to find a sunbeds since a lot of guests do not respect the hotel policy not to reserve. During our stay and looking at the reviews we observed that there is a part of travelers that are are very unfair towards the hotel and hotel staff. We experienced guests that they had crazy demands. Those guests were rude and aggressive not only towards the staff who were very professionally trying to deal with them but also towards other residents. As a personal experience there were two residents that were complaining no stop because last time the stayed as per their story in the most expensive hotel in the area,five star de lux and returning to Crete they had the demand and expectations to book and pay a budget city center hotel which will offer the same standards,servises and facilities as an exclusive resort. We checked the price of the hotel they were talking about and honestly the daily rate was equal to the week stay cost in Heronissos hotel. We ensure you that if you have the normal expectations of your choice you will be fully satisfied. We advise the guests to make a research before booking. Its sad to experience bad behaviours just because some people want to pay less but receive premium facilities. Fortunately the village offers so many alternatives that we are sure you will find the best accommodation for each ones standards. We are very satisfied and happy with our stay and we keep only beautiful memories.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Food was disgusting no choice and desserts only ice-cream or fruit. Only ate in once. The pool was filthy never cleaned scum all around the walls. Rude staff at the bars serving you with cigarettes hanging out of their mouth. No smoke alarms in rooms and up at 5.30am if you wanted a sun bed. Please don't book here I just wished I had listened to the bad reviews. Just returned from a 3 star rating in Lanzorote and compared to this hotel it was 5 star.

This our trip in Hersonisos was not the first one, but was the best one! The hotel is good with nice personal and very good administration. Really is a very important thing to have a nice service and people that respond to your needs. For us is very important the distance to the see, because we have a boy 5 years old and this hotel is very close to the beach. For sure we will come again to this hotel.

On arrival I thought we were walking into a shopfront, it didn't look like a hotel, after checking in with a very miserable receptionist who ignored us for a while, he said we could upgrade our room for extra 120 euros which was apparently half price! We declined . Our room was old and basic but clean, our balcony looked out onto dirty rooftop and side of hotel after it was advertised every room had a mountain, beach or pool view (picture attached) the bar staff ignored us when we tried to be polite, there was never beds around the pool so we went to the beach every day. A notice said no beds can be reserved but they always were, a notice said shirts and long trousers must be worn for dinner but noone did, including my husband. Only 2 nights out of 7 had entertainment, we ate out alot of the time. The corridors was very loud with shouting youngsters all through the night, we won't be going back.

Me and my auntie stayed here in October last year, we had an amazing holiday! We stayed 10 nights and we’re always cared for by the wonderful staff and the lovely manager Fotini, she always made sure our stay was pleasurable and that we had everything we needed. She was very kind with sorting out our money whilst over there as we had some trouble with exchange rates whilst at the airport etc, but Fotini made it no problem and helped us along our holiday so that we could still enjoy our 10 nights with them. The pool was lovely (very cold so beware haha) the bar staff were amazing, cocktails were lovely and very strong, their shots are even stronger😂, All in all, we had the most amazing break away, we had the loveliest holiday all inclusive, we will definitely be returning to enjoy another stay with everyone at the hotel.
