Pleased to see that the rooms are being refurbished - some are a bit tired to say the least, but they are clean and tidy none the less. The room we had did have the new furniture and new fresh carpets, so once the full refurb is done it will reflect the values of the staff who are very helpful and friendly

Everything is old fashioned The room smell and Everything smelled and dusty I would recommend to go there and waste my money. The mattress is a hard not soft. Had a bad sleep in them. My back is still hurting me. It’s just been a waste of money.

Unusually expensive for a one night stay at this very basic motel. Bit grim on the outside being in a service area. inside not a lot better.

The hotel could do with updating, however being an older style Travelodge means slightly bigger rooms. Free parking is always helpful and there is a park-and-ride adjacent to the hotel if you want to go into Norwich without needing to drive or park. There are a couple of fast food outlets on site/over the road. In spite of the fact that it’s adjacent to a busy road and intersection, we didn’t have a lot of external noise.

My father was too embarrassed to tell me that the disabled room I had booked for him came complete with a shower which meant he had to try and climb into a bath to use. This meant he went without a proper wash for 3 days as well as being too ashamed to tell me. Not really what you want when you are staying in the place due to a family funeral. Is it really so hard to put a level access shower into a disabled room?

Was welcomed politely and directed to where my room was. If I had any enquiries he told me what I needed to know and was respectful about it.

Double booking a room all to make an extra £50, then refusing to transfer us to the nearest Travelodge because no room was available for us, then splitting a group booking that had not yet arrived to give us a room and leave them with the same problem later. This is how your Travelodge works. The systems in place mean that this could happen to anyone. Someone in the company thinks this is an acceptable way to run the business. Unbelievable.

Have stayed here a few times now. Some stays have been for proximity to UEA, another time was for proximity to the NNUH. Each time we’ve been made to welcome by staff. Beds are comfy and rooms are clean and staff are really helpful and friendly.
