My daughter and myself had three wonderful nights at Hever Castle last week. Everything was just perfect. We had a beautiful room with a lovely view. Our room had a tub and walk in shower which we had asked for. Beds were really comfortable and you have bottles of water plus tea and coffee. Rooms are spotless. A nice courtyard outside where we sat with a gin and tonic which you can get from reception. Breakfast was so good in a spectacular dining area . Two beautiful dining rooms to choose from. The food was delicious every morning. You can have both hot food from a menu and also continental with lots of choices. All the staff are so nice really helpful and will answer any questions. We enjoyed our time there so much it was absolutely amazing and an added bonus is with the ticket you are given to go in the castle you also get 10% off in the cafe and shop. It was somewhere we had always wanted to go and we are so glad we did. Can’t wait to go again.

Stayed one night for my birthday. We were in Pippin, cosy comfortable room. Loved the little armchair. Bed was comfy. Could hear the other guest talking but that’s a minor complaint. Friendly staff. Breakfast was great, I had the Eggs Benedict. Being able to access the grounds after closing and seeing the castle lit up was an added bonus. Would definitely come again.

The instructions prior to arrival were informative. Booking and check in service was excellent and throughout our stay the staff in all sectors were friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Our room had an amazing bathroom with both a bath and walk in rainshower, with molton brown shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash and soap and body lotion. The room was what you would expect with the period of the castle, and felt cosy and warm. With adjustable heating and air conditioning. Beverage selection . Bed was a bit firm for our preference, however I have not marked down as was ok and the bedding was very comfortable. Breakfast was served to the table, and there was a buffet style continental option. The ambience all in all along with the castle and grounds made our wedding anniversary ❤️ very special.

First time visit to Hever Castle, room was amazing had a great feel to it, if we needed anything extra we asked and nothing was a problem, played a game of snooker had a couple of drinks which was enjoyable, breakfast staff very polite and friendly nothing was too much for them. Had a private tour of the castle as visited out of season.

Had a lovely couple of nights here to visit friends in Kent after spending Christmas with family. I could not have felt more welcome. Instructions on how to access the estate before I arrived were very clear and accurate and the welcome at Reception was warm and friendly. My single room in the Astor wing was small and comfortable with everything I needed. Breakfast was plentiful and all freshly cooked. Although it is a B&B, it felt more like a hotel. I particularly enjoyed being able to buy drinks from Reception. The seating area in the Music room has comfortable armchairs and sofas which can be used throughout the day and it was nice to be able to sit and read with a G&T at hand. I particularly enjoyed having full access to the castle and grounds throughout my stay. Guests have the opportunity to visit the castle half an hour before it opens to the public. I took this up and it felt very special. Every member of staff I met was polite and friendly. It makes such a difference, especially when travelling alone. I highly recommend a stay here and plan to return.

The bedroom did not feel like luxury, the sink plug when removed was covered in brown scum (picture taken of proof needed). There was very loud talking all night and in the morning from the room next door, we were in Pippin. The voices kept me awake. This was a present from my late mother for my 50th birthday and although I would visit Hever castle again, I was really disappointed with the room. The pillows were lovely and soft but as soon as you put your head on them it was flat to the mattress. No bin in bedroom for tissue, no paper or pen and this was not what I class as a luxury room. Breakfast although choices, was stone cold in a few minutes and the muffin I had was so dry I left it, no hash brown on either plate and watery beans so left those too I feel disappointed by my stay. The chair in the bedroom was not a comfortable adult chair and there was no where to be comfortable in the room, hence we left at 9am.

Second time I've been here and it's the best value B&B I've been to, rooms are fabulous, breakfast out of this world and included in the price is free entry into the castle and gardens for both days and a voucher for 10% off in the cafe's and restaurants in the castle grounds. I'm definitely coming back again.

The Hever Castle B & B was clean and warm but the furniture is very old with a creaking small wardrobe and an old desk and old side cupboards in my room!. I stayed in the Snowdrop double deluxe room, the bedding & seats had outdated covers & looked a bit like an old nursing home room. There are no lifts and several stairs to my room and I had the view of a car park and tiled room from my old windows. The Bathroom was clean, the bath is slippery and although there were Molten Brown products, there was a note stating to leave the products for future guests or there will be a charge! A bit cheap and stingy considering I paid £185 for a night and there aren’t local nearby shops. The Bar drinks are overpriced and the Moat Restaurant/other cafes within the Hever Castle grounds close early around 4pm, serving bland food. I went to the King Henry 8th Pub which is near, but their kitchen was not refurbished and they only served 5 inch pizzas!! The ghost tour was fantastic though, with actors and great stories. The Hever Castle is only lit with some red lighting at night & nothing special. The tour ended at 9pm and the ground lights were turned off so people could not see the way back to their cars in the dark or see the signs, someone should have led the visitors back to the car park or the Hever Castle B & B. The maze was also closed from the 30.11.24 which visitors should be informed about on the internet or prior to arrival, or either get a discount on the entrance fee! Breakfast at the B & B was cold.
