I like this hotel very much, making our tired journey comfortable and soothing. First of all, I think a few points are great
1. Come to the front desk in the hot summer, Miss Sister gives me a glass of water.
2. We have a twin room, the room is large, can open the suitcase normally.
3. There are various intimate group pieces, disposable face towels, disposable toilet pads, cooling stickers, and small snacks in the hotel.
4. The hangers in the hotel room can be used to dry clothes.
5. The breakfast is good, there are not so many fancy things, it is also very rich, and there are local characteristics of Hezhou. Oil tea and powder corners are good.

The room was very spacious and our family of four booked a twin room. The hotel is not far from the bustling commercial street, there is a parking lot, the hotel has a complimentary breakfast, we went to the restaurant about 50 meters before the hotel to eat. In the same location, the price is very high. I originally booked for one night and continued for another night.

HHFThe design of the hotel is a mixed of Chinese with European elements such as painting, mural. Despite a dated product and facilities but the overall hygiene standard is well maintained. The hotel is located besides a main street hence it can be rather noisy from the traffic below. In addition, the noise from the next door rooms were rather disturbing especially during the evening with people talking loudly and slamming the doors. Nothing to wow about the room amenities / facilities. Located across the hotel are several restaurants and convenience shops that you can easily buy drinks, snacks etc. What I particularly like is the hot or cold coffee and tea dispenser at the lobby which comes in handy for those who must have coffee or tea before starting the day. Breakfast is served in a small buffet style, mostly Chinese food.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived at the Secret Manor Hotel (Gao Shi Qi Yu Branch) in Huangyao Ancient Town, we first made tea by the stove. The tea made by the stove was given when we booked the hotel. There were also 3 sets of national costumes that could be borrowed for taking photos. Various scented teas, peanuts, longans, red dates and sugar oranges are also prepared for making tea around the stove. We stayed until 7pm before going out for dinner. Among them, I took pictures of various things in the hotel. The environment of the hotel is really beautiful. This is the former residence of celebrities and is adjacent to the Dragon Claw Banyan Tree. It took three years to build by Greek designer Ulrica and was only completed in November 2023. It is a unique Chinese and Western double courtyard building in the ancient town, with large terrace rooms, French restaurant, multi-functional conference hall, and closed operation. There are 12 Each of the different guest rooms has been fully occupied these days. There are three peacocks, a blue cat, and a goldfish pond in the yard. The children love to see them. I really like that every corner of this hotel can be photographed. I took a lot of photos during my stay. The environment is very clean and tidy, and the facilities and equipment are new and brand-name. There are electric toilets, washing machines with dryers, etc. The toiletries are also brand-name and very useful. The proprietress and Abu were both kind and enthusiastic, answering all questions and very patient. Abu even wrote a card and placed it in the guest room, making people feel that this is a very warm and comfortable hotel.
Facilities: The facilities are complete and very new. All are from big brands.
Hygiene: The entire hotel, both in public areas and rooms, is clean and has no odor.
Environment: The environment of the public areas and rooms is very beautiful, and everything is carefully decorated. Simple and comfortable. It’s perfect for taking pictures, dazing, and making tea by the fire.
Service: They are all very good. They received us very warmly. There were also handwritten cards in the room, which felt very heartwarming.

If you are tired from walking around the city during the day, you can go to the park after dinner, walk around, cross the road and walk back to the hotel, take a hot shower, and feel comfortable. The surrounding transportation is convenient, there is a parking lot, Didi location is convenient, and there are shared motorcycles when you go out. The hotel front desk service is attentive and super nice. And the most important thing is that the room is very comfortable to live in! If you can book such a room at such a price, you can only have fun in Hezhou. The three modes of lighting in the room are all great, the bed is very soft, and the sound insulation effect is also good. The neighborhood is quiet at night, making it very comfortable to stay. Although the location is on the side of the main road, it is not noisy when sleeping at night, and it is also fine for studying at night. Feeling relatively comfortable and safe.
The room was large and very good. Breakfast was on the first floor, which was very convenient. I rushed to the examination room immediately after breakfast. Everything was just right.
There is no door or curtain in the breakfast area, so I always look out and look at the people passing by while eating. By the way, the drag kids in this store are very interesting!

The staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Often, I would find that they had anticipated a question or need.
The breakfast is very basic and functional with fried noodles, boiled eggs, Baozi (steamed buns) and Zhou (rice porridge), plus tea. Personally, I liked it a lot but I could imagine many travelers finding it too basic for their taste.
I love staying here and do so whenever in Hezhou.

I originally finished shopping and Huang Yao didn't want to live in it, and then I ordered it casually, but I felt really good value for money and was pleasantly surprised! The proprietress is very good, directly helped me upgrade the room type, my favorite is the rooftop on the 6th floor, you can watch the sunrise and sunset, the infrastructure of the homestay accommodation is available, and it is very clean. It takes 2 minutes to walk out of the door of Huangyao Ancient Town. If you don't go in, you can eat a street. I ate a few. The taste is not bad and very convenient. And the next morning, I wanted to go to Dongtanling to watch the sunrise in the morning. I saw that there was a carpool at the front desk. I asked the price, but because I couldn't fight people in the off-season, I could charter a car by myself. Later, the boss said that I was alone. I didn't ask if I could be cheap. I gave me less money. I was really touched. Later, I went to Hezhou Gupo Mountain and I directly found the boss to carpool. It was really super convenient! Huang Yao is beautiful, I will come next time!
