If you enjoy biking, jogging or walking, the Mickelson Trail is just a few blocks away, providing 104 miles of the most beautiful views in the hills. Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, and Custer State Park are with in 15 minutes. You can find winter sports, Spearfish Canyon, and casinos to the north just one hour away. Hiking to the top of Harney Peak, or enjoying boating, fishing and water activities is also near by in Custer State Park, Sheridan Lake or Lake Pactola.
