GGuest UserKona Village is just the best! When we arrived we were taken on a cart tour of the resort by the bellman Shanen, who dropped us off at “Hale 1” - one of only two legacy hales. At our first turndown service, the housekeeping staff left an entire collection of 7 refrigerator magnets. The outstanding service continued at the activity shed Kilo Kai, where one day Cam took us out on a private snorkeling expedition and the next day ‘Pu took me out canoe paddling and set me up on a stand up paddle board. We attended the Island Roots dinner the night of our arrival - the food was excellent and we were all seated at one table so the interactions with the other guests were easy and pleasant. Staff members Jose and Daniela dined with us, as if welcoming us to their home. We were there to celebrate my wife’s milestone birthday, and when we arrived at our room late that night they left a bottle of champagne and mini birthday cake for us. The pools and on site restaurants were great. All around excellent from start to finish.

GGuest UserTitle: Perfect Stay in the Heart of Kona 🌺 I had an amazing experience at the Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel! The location couldn’t be better—right on the waterfront, with beautiful views of Kailua Bay and just steps away from shops, restaurants, and the pier. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a cozy bed and a balcony where I could enjoy the ocean breeze every morning. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile and great local tips. The on-site amenities were fantastic: the pool area was relaxing, the fitness center was well-equipped, and the beach right in front of the hotel was perfect for a quick swim or paddleboarding. I also loved the cultural touches, like the Hawaiian artwork and the historical displays in the lobby, which made the stay feel uniquely local. This hotel truly offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and Hawaiian charm. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kona!

GGuest UserThe ocean view was very smoothing and relaxing. The kids loved the giant pool and the water slide and we spent a lot of time there! The pool food was better than I expected. The breakfast place was also nice. Close to many activities. We went to the open market right in front of the hotel. We did the kayaking tour that included an exciting cliff jump, and the most incredible night time manta ray experience, all short distances from the hotel. Short drive to many tourist spots. Would definitely want to come back again sometime.

GGuest UserThis is a true outdoorsmen experience. I stayed in the Monkeypod tent. It was very comfortable. I had a very nice Queen bed with plenty of pillows. The tent came with a folding table, iron racks for hanging clothes, a lamp, multi-plug power strip, and WIFI. The porch had one chair and a table, and the nights were very quiet. The property shares a kitchen with on the needed appliances and dishware available as well as a porch with tables and chairs to watch the sunset. There are two showers, one in door with solar heating and one outdoors (still private) with gas heating. The property has a protected gate with code. Overall, a very good experience and I would stay here again.

I feel for the price already paid the fact that lunch or dinner for 1 person is almost the cost of another night stay is kind of ridiculous. The best amenities here can be enjoyed without being a guest.

GGuest Usergrand opening new boutique hotel in April 2023 and location at Central of Kona. The old name Kona seaside hotel. they are new renovation. You can shopping in your room. like sunscreen lotion, T shirt and beach tote bag...I love Complimentary daily Kona, Hawaii coffee at lobby and welcome drink at room. Partial ocean view must stay but may be need more private like partitions at balcony and shower water pressure. free Yoga in morning. staff is friendly and helpful.
