Seawatch at Island Club

The unit was fine for 2 people and it would be fine for 2 more adults or children. The kitchen was adequate and all the appliances were in working condition. The living room furniture was starting to wear and when you sat you sunk down into the cushions. Not good for anyone who needs back support. The master bedroom mattress was comfortable. The master bath had a walk in shower which was very nice but the cabinets and vanity were old. The unit needs some TLC. Scuffed baseboards and a lousy paint job don't make it very appealing.

We love this resort. It's comfortable and laid back. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We love the close proximity to the beach. We also love the resort's convenient location on the island; it's fairly centrally located.

Seawatch is a very quiet ocean front property with quick access to all amenities and the beach front is very uncrowded. Great grilling area with good directions and all grilling implements and a wash station. gas firepit also and bean bag games and putting game were available as was chess. The grounds are well maintained and their onsite bike rental is now very competive.

started off bad but was good overall. was not allowed into room till 4:45pm on Saturday due to cleaning crew. Great place, grounds were emaculate. Room was large and roomy. Good, close and easy access to the beach. Would return again.

The unit is large and spacious. We were in room 7204. The unit has a walk-in shower in the master bath and a tub in the hall bathroom next to the bedroom with two twin beds. There are lots of cabinets and drawers. There is a large walk-in closet in the hall. The kitchen has a washer and dryer so if you have kids this unit is great. Now for the bad. They are doing upkeep on the buildings and on the outside of are unit and down the outside wall is scaffolding which could be dangerous so I would check on that before I booked the room. The resort will let you know they are doing construction which might affect your vacation, but they did not say anything about the scaffolding being outside the unit and the building which obstructs your view. The ocean view is also obstructed by some trees, but you can see the ocean over the dunes if you look to the left or look over the railing to the right. There is a cannel in the back of the unit that has ducks in it. My tips are to ask what is going on in your building and if there are any things like scaffolding. Another tip is if you want a better view you should try for at least the third floor or above.

Very well run property. Lots to do on-property from just sitting around the firepit to playing tennis & pickleball. You can even fish from areas on the property. Great beach within a minutes walk from your unit.
