Although it's a business hotel, the breakfast was excellent. The rooms are also quite spacious, and it's conveniently located just a short walk from the south side of Himeji Station.

The location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk from the station. The facilities were good, and the place was very clean. We chose a twin room, and the size was just right – not at all cramped. A big plus was the separate shower and toilet area. The price was also very reasonable, making it a much better option than other hotels nearby. I'd highly recommend it. Our top-floor room was also a nice bonus.

For under 300 RMB, the quality was unbelievably good! It truly shows how high the standard is in Japan, even for budget options.

Close to the station. Facilities: Brand new property. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean. Service: Complimentary coffee available. Also not far from Himeji Castle.

Quiet location but still only minutes from station and shops. We stayed for an extended period as visiting family and Stayed in a twin room which is a very good size. Plenty of room to ‘live’ . Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good, great choices and all very fresh. The breakfast area being used as a ‘lounge’ with free drinks from 2-8pm was very useful. Cannot speak highly enough of our stay. One very minor thing, is that there is no room safe so if you feel the need to lock valuables away they have to be deposited with reception. Would highly recommend Richmond Hotel.

While the hotel itself is large, the rooms are quite compact, feeling more like single rooms. The amenities provided are fairly basic. The area isn't as bustling or convenient as the other side of Himeji Station, and it's also a bit of a walk from the platform. For these reasons, I wouldn't recommend it for tourists.

The room is on the smaller side, ideal for a quick one-night stay.

The hotel is located close to station which is very convenient. There is also lots of paid parking available nearby the hotel area.

An elegant, smart hotel in a quieter location but an easy walk from the railway station. Rooms feel spacious with the large windows. A negative was they only had smoking rooms. Although there was a smoke smell in the room it was no a big problem

Best hotel in Himeji with amazing breakfast!

Great location, and the laundry facilities are very convenient.

The hotel is well-located, close to the JR station. However, reaching it requires navigating a small alleyway, making its entrance a bit tricky to find. The front desk staff were quite welcoming. In the lobby, guests can help themselves to a selection of toiletries, tea bags, and coffee packets. The room was of an average size. However, the two beds were positioned extremely close to each other, practically touching. Overall, it offered only average value for money.

A great option. It's very close to the station. I'd definitely stay here again.
