The location was great.
The buffet was okay.
Check-out was at 12 o'clock so we were able to take our time.
I'd like to go again.

Overall, the price/performance ratio is very high, not bad. However, the hotel is older, so the equipment is relatively backward. However, there is no problem with the sanitary environment and the service attitude of the staff is also very good.
Facilities: Old and no stable wireless network
Hygiene: Relatively good. There are large baths and open-air baths, and the men's and women's baths are swapped every morning and evening.
Environment: The hotel is built next to the sea. The natural landscape is beautiful and the sea view is beautiful.
Service: thoughtful and meticulous, remarkable

I stayed at Yukai again after many years. As a chain hot spring hotel, the dinner was improved, with a barbecue and sashimi buffet. But the free bus was gone, and Chinese people in Japan cannot drive themselves, so they can only take a taxi. There was no response when I contacted them on WeChat. This time I had to choose between Shimabara and Hirado. Hirado was the birthplace of Zheng Chenggong, which attracted me more. I couldn't get a taxi after getting off the bus, and finally got a taxi at the sports field under Hirado Castle with the help of a Japanese friend. It is recommended to go by train, and there are taxis waiting at the hotel.

The bathroom is large and good. The temperature of hot water is just right. It would be even better if the sauna was large and there was a TV.
The room is old but large.
The sea side rooms have a great view. There is no particular problem in dealing with employees.

2024.03.Sun / Hirado Senrigahama Onsen Hotel Ranpu (Trip to Northern Kyushu) [Accommodation fee] 16,868 yen/2 people (including 300 yen bath tax) Off-peak weekday support coupon 1,500 yen x 2 people. [First come, first served! Early bird discount 45] Basic plan to enjoy a variety of Japanese, Western and Chinese buffets ・Standard twin No bath [Parking] Free (we were guided to the 5th parking lot a little further away) [Impressions] It's Yukai Resort. You can't get there by following the directions on the car navigation system, but there is a sign at the entrance from the road, so it's okay. The number of flat parking spaces near the entrance is limited, so we were guided to a narrow parking lot up the hill. We ran into a group of Asian tourists at the front desk, and it took a while to get from the reception to our room. It was spring break, so many people had come and the hotel was fully booked. The meal was the usual Yukai Resort, but we were surprised at the size of the dining venue and the number of people! It's a popular hotel after all. Both dinner and breakfast are buffets in three parts, but it was the first time we had such a long line at a buffet. (Breakfast wasn't too crowded though) I think they had some local dishes like champon. The rooms face the sea and have a terrace, which must be nice in the summer. The baths are alternated between men and women. The open-air observation bath was nice, but unfortunately you couldn't see anything at night. The other open-air bath also had a tub bath, which was nice. Still, it was a hotel with far too many people. [Previous visit] Matsuura Historical Museum [Next visit] Roadside Station Matsuura Sea Hometown Museum (fried horse mackerel)

Large hotel with superb sea view. Huge room. But everything else needs to be reviewed! Aging room with completely outdated decoration. Strong smell from the original carpets. Bathroom and toilets also to be reviewed. Dining room on the 1st floor to also redo! Everything should be renovated! What saves me is a varied and very correct buffet catering with a large choice of fresh fish and meats. On the other hand, you have to grill them on a small barbecue on the table and as there is no ventilation, all the clothes smell of smoke. You need to change both in the morning and in the evening. I do not recommend this hotel which would have potential if it were renovated.

Some parts have been renovated, but the place is old overall, and the door to the balcony was poorly fitted and didn't close properly. The TV stand and air conditioner were covered in dust, and it didn't feel clean at all. I wondered what they had cleaned. It was nice that there was a place for children to play, but I was bothered by the lack of cleaning everywhere. There were spider webs in some parts of the room, so I wish they would clean it more thoroughly. It was convenient to be near the sea.

Yukai Resort Hirado Senrigahama Onsen Hotel Ranpu is a hotel located in Kawachi-cho, Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture. On November 18, 2021, we drove to Hirado Island and Ikitsuki Island in Nagasaki Prefecture. From there, we drove to Yukai Resort Hirado Senrigahama Onsen Hotel Ranpu. The parking lot is very large. The facade looks like this. The lobby is very large. For some reason, Western armor is on display. The windows are large and the sea is beautifully visible. The lobby is on the third floor, and on this day I was in Room 203, so I took the elevator down. From the corridor you can see the restaurant on the first floor. When you enter the room, there is a staircase right away, which makes it look like a maisonette, but it's just a step. I thought it was a twin room, but it was actually a four-bed room. It seems they upgraded me to a larger room, so I feel bad for staying there for 8,250 yen (bitter smile). Refrigerator. With a balcony. You can see the lobby, so conversely, you can see the room from the lobby (bitter smile). You can also see the sea. This hotel has amazingly good value for money. There is a table and chair in the room. There is a sink at the bottom of the stairs. Next to it is the toilet, and of course it has a heated toilet seat. It looks easy to use, but it was a bit of a hassle to go down the stairs every time I went to the toilet. I went to the hot spring. The hot spring is colorless, transparent, and odorless, but it had a slightly thick texture. The large open-air bath, which is one of the largest in Western Kyushu, felt good. Beer time on the balcony. Dinner was a buffet at the restaurant on the first floor. I chose hot pot. And there was also yakiniku (lol). The next day, on November 19, 2021, breakfast was also at the same venue. Breakfast was also a buffet. Coffee can be provided with a lid so that you can take it back to your room. We drove ahead by car. Yukai Resort Hirado Senrigahama Onsen Hotel Ranpu 55 Kawauchi-cho, Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture 0570-550-078

I took a bath with an open-air bath. The bath was installed backwards, so when I tried to look at the view outside, the chain of the bath plug hit my back, and I got a single scratch on my back. The room with the open-air bath was very far from the entrance, and I had to walk about 650 steps, so if I left something behind after arriving at the front desk, I had to walk 2600 steps for two round trips, which was quite a hassle. The meals were buffet style so that everyone could enjoy them. The baths were just normal baths, which was not interesting, considering the name Yukai Resort.

It's very reasonable. The price is insanely cheap, and includes two buffet meals, dinner and breakfast. There are two large public baths, one of which is an open-air bath with a view. The facilities are old and have an old smell. The walls are thin, and there is a lot of noise from above and next door. The room amenities are minimal. No brushes, no water. There are no lockers in the changing room of the large public bath. (There are small lockers for valuables.) However, despite the negative aspects, the hotel is mindful of cleaning and greetings, and is keen to make your stay comfortable. Considering the price, I think it's good value for money. I think your satisfaction with this hotel will change depending on what you prioritize.

The building itself is a Showa-era hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. It seems that they took ventilation into consideration, and guests were careful not to use the same elevator as each other, so I think the risk of coronavirus was low. The bath felt great. The buffet dinner and breakfast were also delicious, so I would like to use it again.

The room was far from the elevator, had a bad view, and was small. There was also a step in a strange place, and I almost tripped and it was dangerous. I think that room should have been reserved in advance for some reason. I am very disappointed that I was shown to such a room after making a reservation with a normal travel plan. I travel several times a year, but this is the first hotel I never want to use again. Also, the infection control measures at the dining area were questionable. It was a free seating area, but the disinfection was not done properly after the previous group left. Each staff member was well-behaved, but I got the impression that there were not enough staff.
