**Facilities:** The facilities were exactly what you'd expect from a standard Japanese budget chain hotel – nothing extravagant, but everything essential was there and working perfectly. I was particularly pleased not to encounter any of the facility issues some other reviews had mentioned. **Hygiene:** Livemax hotels typically have average cleanliness standards, but on this occasion, I found no reason for complaint at all, which was great. **Environment:** I was very happy with the surrounding neighborhood. The street view from the window was quite pleasant, and having convenience stores and restaurants right on the doorstep was incredibly convenient. **Service:** The service was excellent, making for a very comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Clean, perfect for the price. Not far from Hiratsuka station, but a bit far from closest convenience stores, about 5 minutes walk to each. The strongest minus — a gap between the room door and floor, which makes each sound heard by others, and so you hear everything outside. Even a low volume tv or half voice conversation can be perfectly heard by others. That’s quite strange because the hotel seems recently renovated. Other aspects are nice to my opinion.

Location was convenient for us with a car as only 30min from enoshima and kamakura and direct ETC to Tokyo is only 1 hour. First night I was told to come at 9am for breakfast, when I l did receptionist said it was too late. Second day I came down and it was food dished out on a plate. Nothing for vegetarians, all pork and fish. Chef didn't understand what allergies were and so I booked with breakfast but had none. It's not hard to serve even an fried egg if nothing else!! Didn't have a picture of the room but Indonesian a few doors down was delicious! Also no parking I wouldn't rush to book a livemax, it didn't feel very welcoming. Choose an APA hotel instead, it was much better!

It was just so-so, but there were some decent food options in the surrounding area. The room itself was quite good, especially considering how affordable it was – a real steal!

I didn't mind the small room, but the main facilities were somewhat dated, and the bathroom always had a persistent unpleasant smell.

I have stayed in tiny hotel rooms in Japan before but this one was easily the tiniest ever. It was quite old and not very clean. The room had a weird teapot from the 90s or maybe even 80s that I did not risk to use.

Plenty of dining options nearby, and transportation is very convenient.

The room was perfect for a solo traveler. The location is incredibly convenient, being very close to the station.

The hotel is very close to the subway station, offers great service, is exceptionally clean, and provides a full range of complimentary toiletries.

The location is accessable but the Hotel is not clean it 's an old hotel the breakfast have same menu everyday

The room was not that clean and it's too dry inside. Also the illumination in the room was not enough.
