Although walking distance to the train station and attached shopping arcade, the hotel is in a business park area and not very convenient for the tourist sites in town The rooms are small and a little dingy - the hotel itself is a bit older and needs a sprucing up. Breakfast is served downstairs and the food is mediocre at best - I definitely wouldn't pay for it again. There isn't much around the hotel - I walked around on my way back at night, looking for someplace to get a bite to eat or a a drink and couldn't find anything (a few blocks away was a terrible place that had a lot of unmarked fees and charges). If I were to do it all over, I definitely would choose a different hotel in a different area. (Please note: the hotel did nothing wrong, per se, and the staff was very nice! It just wasn’t the right place for me, for purpose of this trip.)

Hotel is nearby Chuden-Mae stop. I got a bigger room for the price of single room and I'm glad I got that. My friend got a single room and she could barely open her luggage. Double room has more than enough space. Very long table for work and stuff. Amenities so-so. No mineral water provided. Room has window but view was of the next building. Hallway outside rooms also had no window. No coffee machine as I recalled. But overall was still a good stay.

Friendly staff with good English. Fridge in room which is useful. Good size room which looked nice though view just off some buildings. Directly opposite a streetcar station and next to peace park

In other words, other tram routes are not suitable as they do not pass through Chudenmae tram station. The only route passing through Chudenmae Tram Stop has relatively few buses, so you need to spend more time waiting. The room was clean and tidy like any other Japanese hotel. The hotel was located close to the main street, Hondori (本通), about a 10-minute walk. The hotel was right in front of the Chudenmae tram stop, so it was convenient in many ways. I was also more satisfied with the fact that there was a public bathhouse within the hotel.
