We loved this little hotel on Miyajima Island! It was so cozy and had everything we needed. Even the tiny shower had amazing water pressure and was so cozy and nice. Definitely stay here if you're a traveler on a budget visiting Miyajima Island!

The facilities are clean and staff are very courteous and proressional. It is in a business district so there are many dining options around. My only issue with the property is it can be a bit of a trek to nearby stations, but it is also a good walk to Minami district. Overall I am happy with the service, and would recommend.

Great value, very clean and spacious ryokan. Staff was kind and recommended nice places to dine at. Good location, between ferry pier and the Torii. With self-serve laundry and public bath. Worth it for the cleanliness and the large size of the room.

Sakuraya in Miyajima is a remarkable ryokan that truly captures the essence of Japanese hospitality. The highlight of my stay was the spacious Japanese-style room with a mesmerizing sea view. The traditional decor and ambiance added to the authentic experience, making me feel like I had stepped back in time. The location was superb, allowing easy access to Miyajima's attractions. The clean and well-maintained room provided a sense of tranquility and comfort. The simple yet delicious $5 breakfast consisting of bread, butter, jam, egg, fruits, and fresh juice was a delightful way to start each day. While the basement onsen had a slightly eerie atmosphere, it was immaculately clean, and the rejuvenating experience made it worthwhile. Overall, Sakuraya offers a memorable ryokan experience, combining cultural immersion, comfort, and a touch of adventure

This place is highly recommended to stay. I booked my room @ 3rd floor with Seaview is simply an awesome decision. The staff at front desk are so welcoming, warmth & helpful. The location itself is just amazing. About 10mins walk to the ferry pier and also 10mins walk to the famous Itsukushima Shrine with the floating gate (Torii).
