Hotel Hokke Club Hiroshima

Last year, I stayed at a hotel near JR Hiroshima Station. This year, I wanted to try a different area, so I booked a place closer to the Atomic Bomb Dome. The location is excellent – it's very convenient for walking to nearby attractions, shopping, and dining. The rooms are typical Japanese business hotel style: clean and tidy, small but well-equipped. Since there were three of us traveling, we booked three single rooms, which worked out fine; it didn't feel particularly cramped. The breakfast was plentiful, and we started each day feeling refreshed and ready to explore. It was a long holiday in Japan, so there were more people and the room rates were higher, but I had time off, so it was worth it. After a tiring day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to return to the hotel and relax in the large public bath. Recommended!

The hotel offers a free large public bath, clean facilities, and is generally quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located right next to a tram station. Free coffee is available on the first floor, and the breakfast boasts a rich variety, primarily featuring local Hiroshima delicacies.

Getting to the hotel from Hiroshima Station was a breeze! Just hop on a bus for 240 yen, get off at Shira jinja-mae, and it's a five-minute walk from there. Super convenient. The location itself is incredibly practical. You're just a few minutes away from supermarkets, shopping streets, and even a large Hiroshima department store. Dining, shopping, and even walking to the Atomic Bomb Dome are all within easy reach. Plus, you can catch a direct boat to Miyajima right from the riverside. The hotel breakfast was absolutely fantastic – it truly set me up for the whole day!
