1st Stay: We stayed two nights on our arrival in HCMC and our room was excellent with a window view, a very comfortable bed and pillows and very modern bathroom all with nice amenities, kettle, tea and coffee etc. The Staff at the front counter are so nice and friendly and helpful, always smiling and willing to assist. The breakfast was great with lots of choices of both Eastern and western food. The view from the 11th Floor Restaurant/ Breakfast area is spectacular especially at night when the Dinner cruise ships head up river. The staff at breakfast go out of their way to ensure you are looked after. They are only young kids but look after you so well and make a great Iced Coffee. 2nd Stay: We were so impressed with this hotel we spent out last four nights there again. We opted for a larger room which for the price was exceptional. Massive bathroom, with a bath and glassed in separate shower. Excellent amenities, replaced each day, two air conditioners , one for the bedroom and one for the TV room area. We had two TV's and heaps of space to put or luggage plus two arm chairs and a bench area. Once again the Staff were happy to see us again as we were to see them, all smiles and happy people, Thank You Ms Christina, Ly at the Front desk and all the other wonderful staff. We miss you all!! Our flight was a late night flight so we opted to stay and pay for half a day which was not a problem. We were sorry to leave and if we come back to HCMC will stay again. The location is away from the hustle and bustle near Nguygen Hue St and taxis are cheap to travel around in. We ate lunches and dinners while there and the standard of food was excellent, thanks Chef!! Highly Recommended to Travellers.

Roseland Corp Hotel

District 1 - Le Thanh Ton Ho Chi Minh City|0.28km from Ton Duc Thang Museum

After two nights in the Roseland Corp Hotel I just don’t know where to start describing this horrible experience as everything - the service, the rooms, the prices - was just so, so bad. So I just start at the beginning: We arrived on a Thursday. Arranging a pick-up from the airport was surprisingly complicated, it took several mails with the service manager for no reason but in the end there was a quite unfriendly driver waiting for us at the gate. They charged us 750.000 Dong which is way above the common taxi-rate (150.000 Dong). When we arrived at the hotel they charged my credit card for the room - twice. As the woman at the front desk didn’t understand English that well, it was quite complicated to convince her of her mistake and get the money back. The Roseland Corp hotel has an impressive entrance area. It’s nice, really. But unfortunately this doesn’t translate to the rooms. They are terrible, probably furnished in the 80s and not renewed since. They have whirlpool bathtubs made of plastic, lots of wood in the room, curtains that haven’t been washed for ages, and you can hear everything that is going on outside of your room. The first room we got smelled like cold cigarette smoke. I complained and they upgraded us to a bigger room (after we looked at a series of rooms, one of them still in use by a paying guest). But even the upgraded room was by far worse then everything we have seen in Vietnam. I wanted to cancel the whole reservation but they wouldn’t let us go. Instead they promised us the best room of the hotel the next day and we stayed. The first night was terrible. The bed had a very, very old and thus noisy spring mattress. The slightest movement made a noise. The walls and curtains had stains all over it. There’s no constant hot water, I had a cold shower in the morning. Shower and toilet happened to make weird unexpected noises. The best room in the hotel was basically the same as before but with a better view and a less noisy mattress. At this point I was ready to drink on that but unfortunately all the mini bar contained was two bottles of water. Breakfast was…well, let’s not talk about it. All of this would have been okay somehow if this hotel wasn’t so pricey. It’s like paying for a filet mignon and getting McDonalds Cheesburger. When we checked out the woman at the front desk (the same who messed up the payment) kindly asked us to sit and wait in the entrance area so she can check if everything is okay. We waited five, ten, fifteen minutes and nothing happened. When we asked her if everything was okay, she was surprised to see that we are still there. Yes, everything okay, she said. I can’t say the same. P.S.: Neil, the doorman, was the only exception to this experience. You are great, man! Please find a new employer.

The Landmark Serviced Apartments - Managed by Peninsula Properties

very good. The room was large, and the room was clean at first, and the facilities were all lived in, which is actually the case. And the service is very good! The service is far better than the domestic four-star service, and it should be similar to the domestic five-star service. All the waiters encountered the kind of initiative greetings. The front desk staff seemed to be familiar with the faces of all the guests and did not need to report the room number. Nice, a lot of fitness facilities are not used. It seems that the hotel does not bring its own breakfast. It is provided in cooperation with the restaurant next door. I have n’t tried it in the Ctrip room. The position of the dressing mirror is different from that of common domestic hotels, but its position and mirror seem to be particularly tall and thin. Hahaha
Silverland Jolie Hotel

Overall a good stay. Hotel was not far from the attractions of D1, relatively quieter (few vehicles pass by) & a convenience store is just opposite of the hotel, which was great. Room wise, I would suggest not to expect too much. The room we got was of a different layout from pictures attached, for a suite room, I would say it's on the smaller side. In addition, the layout of towel/clothes hook on the walls can be placed better. One of the hook was placed right at the wall area of exiting the bathtub, my partner got a small bleeding swell after hitting against it. Small issue, but can be avoided. If safety is a high priority, I would suggest going for another franchise hotel. Silverland Jolie does not have lifts with keycard only access and a front desk agent had mentioned our room number out loud in the lobby mid conversation. Hopefully the latter is an isolated situation. Bell boy was always alert and assists with doors/lifts/luggages, which was much appreciated! Other staffs are also relatively quick to accede requests, i.e. housekeeping.
Nicecy Saigon Hotel

Good hotel in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It is super cheap with breakfast 3 night 8, 090 yen. The breakfast buffet is also delicious and it is just too much. The hotel staff has a good friendliness and cozy. The hotel room has a window more open, but there are many rooms without windows, but there is a clock in the room, and the sense of time can be managed. The hotel room has ample size. In addition, there are more than 100 channels on the liquid crystal TV, but there is only a program for Japan for NHK's overseas version. There is no free beverage in the refrigerator. However, there is a convenience store nearby, so if you buy it, it is OK. The bathroom is very large. The large bathtub can be relaxed. Amenities are also necessary and sufficient.

The location of the hotel is very good. It’s very convenient to find restaurant. The room is not really good. However, the price is cheap.

This is the second time I stayed at White Lotus Hotel in Saigon, Vietnam. I was surprised that the hotel staffs still remember me from my last stayed. Now that's attention to details. Made me feel very welcome. Special thanks to Tammy at the restaurant. Her smile and bubbling personality always brighten up my day. Now, about the hotel. It's located near Saigon River and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.
