TAO DAN Hotel

The lobby is quite beautiful, and the hotel price is low, around 300 yuan, which is pretty good value. There are also many restaurants near the hotel. The only downside is that the breakfast is average; I tried it once and didn't go again. However, it's still very good value for money.

Very comfortable with great service! The room was well soundproofed and the view was pretty good too! There's a pho noodle shop and banh mi downstairs, so you can grab breakfast there. The hotel is close to all the attractions, making it super convenient to get around!

The hotel is very new, and all the facilities are great. Especially, the water pressure in the shower is really strong, which makes showering and washing hair very comfortable. The blankets, pillows, and mattress are clean and have a light, pleasant scent. There's also a convenient underground parking garage. The only thing I can complain about is the front desk staff's service, which wasn't good.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of many attractions, including the Penang market, which is only a 5-minute stroll away. Overall, the hotel's hygiene is good, and the service is decent, with toothbrushes and toiletries provided. I had mentioned it was a birthday trip when booking, and the hotel was very thoughtful; they provided a birthday cake upon check-in. However, on the first night, I noticed some unknown hairs on the bedsheets. When I contacted a staff member, I was told it was too late and no one was on duty, so the sheets could only be changed the next day. Also, I requested an iron and ironing board on the second day, but they weren't delivered until two days later. The pool was fairly clean, but the water quality felt a bit strange, with a sour taste, and my skin felt somewhat irritated after swimming. On a positive note, the hotel staff's service attitude was excellent and friendly. One day, it rained heavily, and a staff member kindly reminded us via WhatsApp that we could borrow umbrellas from the front desk, which felt very thoughtful.

What a lovely and excellent hotel this is! Check-in and check-out were very efficient, done through a cozy, separate counter at the side of the hotel instead of the busy main reception. What also pleased me greatly was the modern communication: everything runs quickly and smoothly via WhatsApp. This is really cleverly done and incredibly easy to use. Furthermore, the hotel is centrally located in Ho Chi Minh City, making everything easily accessible. I will definitely be very happy to return here!

The hotel's location is super cool! Tao Dan Park, a souvenir market, Takashimaya shopping mall, and the book street are all within walking distance. And if you're too lazy to walk, a motorbike taxi to all the surrounding attractions will only cost you 15-30 thousand Vietnamese Dong at most.

This hotel, part of a Ho Chi Minh City government institution, offers guaranteed quality and a great location, though the facilities are a bit dated. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Just a heads-up: definitely don't smoke here, as there are fines for doing so.

The location is great, within walking distance to some attractions, The Cafe Apartment, and hop-on-hop-off bus stops. The overall service is excellent, especially the free laundry service for 4 items per room. This is a thoughtful touch that solves the problem of needing clean clothes, and the pickup and delivery were always prompt. There are many food options right next to the hotel, including coffee shops, noodle places, and BBQ.
