Amory Hotel - Bui Vien Walking Street

- Room is totally different from pictures, much smaller. Receptionist told me I have to indicate that I want the room in the pictures (insane). - Room is old. Walls are thin. Toilet is always wet due to shower curtain being high up. There are some ants in the toilet. - Service is average. Low energy, not very friendly. - Hotel is beside walking street so expect noise at night. There’s a food truck outside selling good banh mi though. - For the price I think its not bad but I wont return. Thanks anyway.

the view is good and i liked the swimming pool the best. the rooms are quite tiny but solo traveller and the location of the hotel absolutely wonderful

This was a very average stay. Great location — close to everything! Staff were very friendly. The pool was really nice. Unfortunately though, the rooms do not look like the photos. I believe the hotel has enhanced the images with AI to make the facilities look nicer. The shower was missing a door/curtain, so the bathroom became a wet room. There was also no hot water for 2 of the 3 nights. I told staff but housekeeping didn’t really do anything to fix it. The exhaust fan in the bathroom also didn’t work, so everything would fog up. The air conditioner is okay but it doesn’t get very cold, so it was difficult to sleep. Bed and pillows were comfortable, but the bedding was subpar (one of the sheets had a stain on it). Cleanliness needs to be better at this hotel.

It’s located in very prime location near Capital bus station and walking street. I stayed with my wife and children. We all had great time.
