Pros: Lovely rooms (two-bedroom) which had everything you needed. Nicely decorated and felt upscale. Hotel was slightly off the main road and rooms were quiet. HCMC roads are busy and noisy!! Small but clean gym, small playground for kids (indoor and outdoor). Pool is big and clean. Restaurant area next to pool. Lobby and reception area is very nice, smells good and has a luxurious feel. Location was good, near the zoo. Cons: only one: breakfast. Vietnamese food is very good but this was the hotel’s weakest link. Limited choice and not that delicious, if you got there after 8.30am almost all the warm food was cold. Hope this can be improved.

We chose the Somerset Chancellor due to it’s location and the ability to comfortably fit our family of five. The apartments are relatively basic but clean and comfortable with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment, we did need help with plane tickets and the team on the desk were great, helping us work through. The convenience store attached to the hotel was very handy!

The 2-bedroom apartment we stayed in was large and a great space for my family of four. The facilities were very nice but the service is excellent. We would like to thank Handsome Van at the front desk along with every person at the front desk for the next level of service they provided. I really was blown away by the great service we received from the doorman to the servers to the drivers to and from the airport. It has been 5 years since I have been back to Vietnam and the service at the hotel was spectacular. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! They really made my stay wonderful. Thank you Intercontinental Team. We will be back!

Since Ho Chi Minh often goes on business trips, I think it is a suitable hotel for business trips as a result of visiting about 10 hotels. 1. The price is reasonable, and the breakfast is good compared to other hotels in this price range in District 1. 2. It is good to sleep because the surroundings are quiet at night. 3. As it is a nationwide chain hotel in Vietnam, it is clean and there are many English-speaking staff, so communication is not a problem. 4. I have little fitness, but it is difficult to do simple exercises. 5. The room size is small and the wifi works well 6. There is a Somerset Hotel right in front, and the coffee shop on the first floor is a famous chain store. It is very delicious. It takes 15 minutes to walk to downtown District 7.1 and takes a taxi for 5 minutes and 30,000 dong. 8. It is right behind the Central Post Office, the Ho Chi Minh sightseeing course.

Register for an Accor membership for early check-in. Design and amenities were similar to Novotel Manila. No provided bathrobes or body lotion but these were not showstoppers. The room is clean. The location is also good. The bad thing is the breakfast, not much varieties. We stayed there for 4 days. The first day we get up early and food were still available even though not variety. The second day, we went for breakfast at 9AM, everything empty only bread and one curry left, I asked for white rice to eat with curry but they mentioned that no more. Then the 3rd day, we went early around 8:15/8:20, also same nothing left even no rice. We really disappointed and the last day we even didnt go for lunch, we just order from Grab.

Was recommended Intercon and it did not disappoint. Enjoyable stay for a girls' weekend and birthday trip. The hotel's location is the best- right across the Book Street, Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office and a short walk to a street full of lovely cafes and restaurants and a slightly longer walk to the City Hall and Opera House. We were given a room on the 15th floor with a great view. Beds were very comfortable. Service was friendly and prompt. We will return!

Stayed here for two weeks while I was lecturing nearby. Clean. comfortable room - good value for money. But staff were very helpful and caring. I wasn't feeling well one day and the breakfast manager conjured up a lovely rice porridge for me. The hotel is on a lively street with a variety of restaurant choices. I will be back.

Our room has a pretty big balcony on which there are two beach bed chairs and a table and from which we could enjoy a beautiful view of the white church located across the street. And plus, there were not a huge range of food at the breakfast restaurant but they serve you really authentic Vietnamese, home-made like food such as pork noodles (Pho), stir-fried egg rice etc that make your mouth water. I really enjoyed my week stay at The Bloom. The room was spacious. The best thing about the hotel is the front desk staff was very attentive. They are good at opening doors 24/7. I arrived six hours early before check-in and I was helped a lot with recommendations and was welcomed really well by Phuoc (sorry maybe the spelling is wrong) - he was great! We also really enjoyed Quin who we bothered everyday with advice lol! There was also the tall man and the other man who is usually there were really helpful as well. Thank you for making our stay very very accommodating. Thank you so much! See you again!

Good service staff The room is cute, quiet, but the bathroom stinks most of the time. Towels are not provided. Everything was missing except soap and shampoo. The drawer couldn't be closed. Tell the housekeeper to come change the bed for you. The housekeeper only came to make the bed but didn't change it at all. So I thought that for staying for 7 days, I should change the mattress. The room is cute. There is a microwave, cups, plates, and hot water kettle. There are no spoons. Overall, it's almost good. I like it. During the day, there's a guard watching all the time. You can walk around and find something to eat easily.

Lovely homestay hotel, located within easy walking distance to district one and three, on a side street off the main drag. There is a Family Mart right next door, for any snacks or beverages you may need. If you have a craving for McDonald's or Popeye's, they're about a ten minute walk away: otherwise, there are many local restaurants everywhere you look. I would definitely recommend this hotel, as they have a wonderful staff and the rooms have a funky decor. No elevator, but it's only three stories, so no big deal.

This hotel saved us when another hotel didn't honour our booking. Super friendly staff gave us a really nice room, actually suite size. Came with cooking facilities . Really clean , sleek , and modern looking. No smart tv though but good WiFi and lots of good steet good nearby. In a laneway so it's quiet . We really had a great 6 days here. Pet Friendly. Highly recommend. Not expensive for what you get . Great friendly English speaking front desk staff.
