Crowne Plaza HOBART by IHG

The hotel is located right in the CBD city center. From the airport, you can take the SkyBus to Stop 5, and it's less than a 10-minute walk from there. You can even see the harbor view from the rooms.

The hygiene was poor, but everything else was fine. The location is very central, next to Myer. There's a McDonald's nearby. Check-in is on the 4th floor. Breakfast includes banana yogurt. SkyBus goes to Collin St.

Excellent location right in the city center, making shopping super convenient. The room was spacious and very clean. Highly recommend staying here. The service was also fantastic; we directly messaged them on WhatsApp for communication, which was prompt and efficient! Tasmania is amazing! 👍🏻

The room was excellent, as expected from IHG's global quality standards. The location is very central, and the front desk staff even pointed out a cheaper parking option nearby, which was a nice touch 👍. The only downside was a bar downstairs that played loud music late into the night, though surprisingly, it didn't bother my family's sleep. I highly recommend getting executive lounge access – it's incredibly good value for money. For breakfast, I wasn't quite sure what to order and ended up with five or six main dishes, so I wasn't hungry until late afternoon!

Overall, I was very satisfied. I didn't experience any of the soundproofing issues mentioned in other reviews. The room was also much larger than the Ibis I stayed in later, far exceeding my expectations. There was lotion at the sink, as well as a dedicated hand soap. The mountain view from the window was beautiful, and the hotel staff were very friendly. The only minor drawback was a dark mark on the bedsheet, possibly from a washing machine or similar equipment. However, this small flaw doesn't detract from the overall experience, and I would definitely stay here again next time!

The hotel is centrally located with many restaurants downstairs and large shopping malls like Myer nearby. If you're driving, they offer valet parking, but expect long waits when retrieving your car. I'd recommend notifying the front desk at least half an hour in advance.
