The hotel is in the park, with convenient parking. There are not many rooms in the whole hotel, which are small but exquisite, very beautiful, and have a sense of history. The rooms are quite large. The breakfast environment is beautiful and exquisite.

Compared to Kronenburg and Falkenstein, two other hotels in the region, Rotschild lands in the middle. The room was spacious, with a functioning fireplace, well kept classic furniture and excellent beds. The surrounding park is not as beautiful as at Kronenburg, and there is no Spa like at Flakenstein, but for an overnight stay on your way (to airport) this excellent. Breakfast was also lovely, with a little buffet and rest served on demand. We were there early, but I doubt it will ever be particularly busy.

Small hotel in beautiful surroundings. Staff are 5 star, polite and helpful. Rooms are very reasonably priced and to a 5 star standard. The restaurant has a small menu but the best choice of wine o have ever seen. The sommelier is a walking Wikipedia, with enormous knowledge of the wines sold. The restaurant’s bread presentation is unique. Breakfast is definitely worth while.

We spent here 5 nights and had an amazing stay! This used to be the Rotchilds family summer villa and was turned into aromantic boutique hotel with 22 rooms. As Titanium Marriott members we were upgraded to a large , simply fabulous room, spacious and with a fire place! Breakfast was delicious with an amazingly pleasant and attentive service. There is a great spa ( offering sauna, heated spring water pool and treatments) at their sister property located within 5 minutes drive ( they offer free shuttle service). The hotel is located less than 25 minutes drive from the airport and in the very nice Königstein town that offers numerous restaurants within walking distance. All in all an amazing hotel that is highly recommended!

Very nice place but some details are up for refurb…breakfast we had to pay 42 euro per person for a coffee, juice, roll, egg…. That is the highest i have ever paid for so little. Definitely advise not to take the breakfast but walk over to the bakery for a roll and a coffee…

We enjoyed the best suite in this villa for us (as the only larger suite had 2 bedrooms was not necessary). Large, windows opened fully allowing in the fresh air, and the fireplace was used daily given the rainy October weather experienced here. Great little park on site with a private path around the immediate grounds. Buffet breakfast was satisfactory. We used the record player, which was a neat touch and a first for us at any hotel we've stayed at. Thanks to the two Daniel's, Sarah, Leah, and Alexandra
