Hohhot Yaxuan Homestay (Zhenhua Square)

Hygiene: The room was very clean, and the bedding was also clean and comfortable. Environment: It's right near Xinhua Square, making transportation and dining very convenient. Service: The host was exceptionally patient and enthusiastic, always helping to resolve any issues promptly.

The room is split over two levels with three beds in total: two queen-sized (1.5m) and one king-sized (1.8m), easily accommodating 5 people. There's a fridge inside, which is great for storing leftover food from the evening.

Not bad, convenient location with shopping malls nearby, perfect for group travelers. The owner is very nice, highly recommend.

Pros: The room was very spacious and clean, with two bathrooms upstairs and downstairs which was super convenient as they didn't interfere with each other. The firm mattress was very comfortable to sleep on. The surrounding area is a commercial district, making it easy to shop, buy food and drinks, or order takeout. The elevator was fast, and the room itself was very quiet. Both bathrooms and bedding were very clean. Cons: Parking is very inconvenient in this commercial area. There's a parking lot downstairs that I think charges 20 yuan for 24 hours, but I forgot the exact price. However, my car is a bit tall, so I was worried it wouldn't fit and didn't park there. Also, the air conditioner downstairs was broken, so only the one upstairs worked. The fridge wasn't plugged in, and the power strip in the room was too short to reach an outlet. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the value for money was quite good. The owner was very friendly and answered all my questions. I'd recommend staying here if you're not driving and don't need to worry about parking.

The rich folk atmosphere is truly immersive, with all sorts of exciting traditional activities. It's a genuine experience of the cultural charm passed down through generations, both relaxing and enlightening. The experience was top-notch, I'll definitely be back!

The room gets amazing natural light, and the bedding is super soft and cozy, ensuring a really sound sleep. Even the hard-to-reach spots were spotless.
