Hohhot Queqiao Hotel (Hailiang Square Zhongshan Road Subway Station Store)

My initial impression wasn't great. The parking lot is several hundred meters from the hotel, and you have to cross a traffic light to get there. After checking in with my luggage and kids, I found the room's facilities to be old and worn out. The cabinet was broken, the chair was dirty, and the towels were tattered. After showering, the hairdryer didn't work. There was no phone in the room to contact the hotel, so I had to find the number online to call the front desk. The front desk staff were nice and helpful, but when housekeeping brought a new hairdryer, they said they didn't have one... Overall, it was a pretty bad experience.

The hotel was just okay, and the room definitely had an odor! But for such a cheap price in this location, I can't really complain. The good review is for the front desk lady, her service was super good! Super gentle and kind!

The hotel is conveniently located on the main road in the city center, with a large, easy-to-spot sign. It's right next to a snack street, across from an outlet mall and a Mongolian shopping center. Kuanzhai Alley is less than a kilometer away. The room itself is quite spacious with large windows, offering great natural light. The bathroom features a dry-wet separation design.

The biggest highlight of Queqiao Grand Hotel is its prime downtown location, situated in the heart of the Zhongshan Road commercial district, offering extreme convenience for transportation, shopping, and dining, and saving time and effort when visiting major attractions. The hotel boasts the capacity to host large conferences and banquets. The downside is that the building was constructed quite a while ago, leading to varying conditions of the rooms, with basic room hardware being somewhat dated. If you prioritize location and meeting facilities, it's a good choice; for a brand-new room experience, it's recommended to pay extra for a renovated floor. Queqiao Grand Hotel is rooted in the bustling Zhongshan West Road of Hohhot, enjoying prime city resources with excellent transportation links and surrounded by commercial areas. The hotel offers a diverse range of room types, complemented by meeting and dining spaces, capable of meeting various needs for business travel and group outings. The hotel continuously pushes for room upgrades and renovations, constantly optimizing the guest experience. It is a well-established, comprehensive hotel in the central urban area of Qingcheng, offering both convenience and integrated service capabilities.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, with well-maintained facilities, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and responsive. The common areas were quiet, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip. Highly recommended!

The hotel's actual interior environment is completely different from the pictures; it's not even close. The front desk staff were rude. We asked them to fix the AC because it wasn't heating, but they couldn't resolve it even after an hour. They only reluctantly changed our room later. The experience was terrible. Seriously, don't book this hotel!

The service is great, and the rooms are very good. I've stayed here multiple times.
