Hailiang Plaza Hotel (Zhongshan Road Metro Station)

This hotel is a great option for a layover, located right in the city center. The only downside was that the first floor was under renovation. However, it's super convenient for getting around since it's very close to the subway entrance. It's also really close to the grasslands, and there are tons of food and drink options right outside. The main advantage is definitely the convenient transportation; lines 1 and 2 are just a quick turn away.

Guests staying recently shouldn't have high expectations for the environment. I knew renovations were going on, so I was okay with it. Being on a higher floor, I felt undisturbed at night. The breakfast selection was very limited, but it was enough to fill up. The washing detergent in the room was a nice, thoughtful touch, even though I didn't use it. The facilities and decor are quite old, but the value for money is decent.

The room was very clean and soundproofed well. Its central location made it super convenient for getting to all the attractions. The front desk service was also warm and attentive.

The air quality was terrible. The entire building was undergoing renovations, and as soon as the door opened, there was a strange smell. The air conditioning was useless; it didn't blow any cold air at all. It was incredibly noisy at night, and the parking lot was a hassle to navigate.

To be honest, the family room we booked was okay, and it's good that the two rooms are separate for living with seniors. However, it was definitely noisy at night, making it hard to get good rest. If you're a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend it. The scenery, though, is quite beautiful.

Hailing Hotel has a great location with convenient transportation. The front desk is currently on the 7th floor, as the floors below are under renovation. The rooms are quite spacious. Hygiene: Clean Service: Fairly good

The hotel is currently under renovation, and the lobby has been moved to the 7th floor. They said the high floor would be quiet, but there was constant noise from debris being loaded and unloaded all night. I wouldn't recommend staying here anytime soon.
