We were fortunate to stay two nights at Stopforth’s during a tour of New Zealand with Overseas Adventure Travel. This small boutique hotel could not have been more perfect. The hosts greeted us on arrival and were personally available during the stay. The rooms are spacious with lovely views, modern style and amenities. A quiet two-story hotel with outdoor entrances and a parking lot interior courtyard, the venue reminds me more of a Bed & Breakfast. And the breakfast? Amazing. Nothing like you’d find in a standard hotel. Home-cooked and delicious. The location is just a few blocks from town center yet and the beach, across from a lovely community playground. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great place to stay. Host/Manager was wonderful. She provide a whole list of things to do and see, a nice list of places to eat. Hokitika is a fun town with a great location on the west coast. Hotel is just a few blocks up from town center and real easy to find. Across from a kid park if you have them. Easy walk to town (about 5-10 minutes). Location makes it real quiet. Nice room features with a simple kitchenette (no oven though), but we were able to make a nice meal one night using the cook top. Place was clean, wifi was good, and quiet. Would recommend and stay agin if in the area.

Great place - spacious, very clean, comfortable rooms. Good kitchen in room, and fresh milk! The hosts are wonderful; they picked us up from the bus and took us to the airport at the end of our stay. Quiet setting, short walk into town. Cannot praise too highly!

Very nice Motel. Not on a main road so nice and quiet. Full kitchen with comfy beds. Rooms very clean. Owners and staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend this motel. Thank you everyone for a lovely stay, appreciate the work you do .

We stayed two nights at this convenient and stylish motel. Nice studio room, A/C and comfortable beds. Location is quiet and within short walking distance to the beach and town center. Friendly service at reception. Laundry service 20 NZD.

Lovely modern clean rooms with all facilities that you would expect and more. A spacious bathroom with a great shower. The room was spotlessly clean and odour free. The bed was generous in size and super comfy and the room completely quiet. Top pick for Hokitika.

I cannot rate this motel enough. The hospitality is top shelf! The rooms are clean and have everything you need. Wireless charging for your phone which is a lovely touch! Food is amazing, if you decide to book meals! Genuinely amazed!!!!!!!
