Grand Mercure Yatsugatake Resort & Spa ★★★★★
"The room's carpet was incredibly dirty with all sorts of stains. The bathroom was very old in every aspect. The hygiene wasn't great, and the slippers smelled awful. However, the service was excellent, and there's a kids' area, so you could stay in the hotel for days without getting bored."
Blanche Mori ★★
"It was wonderful except for the lack of a TV. It was cool enough at night for this time of year that we didn't need the air conditioner. The two cats were friendly and cute, which made us feel at ease."
SANU 2nd Home Minami-Alps 1st ★★★★
"It was difficult to clean up the bonfire without the scoop in the designated place. It is common to clean before check-out, so I want you to have the necessary number of scoops. It may be unavoidable, but wild deer and monkeys were coming nearby and the children were scared. I want you to stop specifying the parking lot and make the EV charger available to those who want to use it."
Hotel Fuuka ★★★
"The free drinks and jazz music were enjoyed in a homey atmosphere, which made me feel at ease. The breakfast was a buffet, but the freshness of the vegetables was the best I've ever had at a hotel I've stayed in. I'd love to visit again if I have the chance."
KIYOSATO KOGEN RESORT ★★★★
"The room is big and clean. It is very comfortable to live in. It is good. I would like to stay here next time and recommend it to other friends. The hotel's hot spring is also very good. Both indoor and outdoor are very comfortable. Although the hotel staff do not speak English very well, they are very enthusiastic and good."
YATSUGATAKE KOGEN RESORT ★★★★
"This holiday cabin is surrounded by nature, the environment is quiet and relaxing, and you can feel the leisurely atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The cabin itself is warm and comfortable, clean and textured, and the facilities are also complete. Living here is as comfortable as living at home. The meals are really surprising. They use fresh local ingredients and the cooking is also very attentive. The hot springs are also great. The spring water is very comfortable. I relax unconsciously while soaking in it. Whether you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city or just want to find a place to relax, this place is highly recommended and is a place you will want to come back to."
Blue in Green ★★
"A beautiful quaint guesthouse with a goat pet. Ben san and Kaori san were great host. I had dinner at the guest house which was beautifully presented. It was a 5 course italian theme meal with coffee. Thr gurst house is a littlr further from train station but pick up can be arranged. There were many restaurants within walking distance from the guest house. Several Walking and hiking trails are doable from guesthouse. The walls were not totally soundproof, but no issue in japan. My room had a sun roof which was great but it also woke me up with the sun light shinning through early morning. May not be a bad thing as it helped tp start the day early."
Hotel Spatio Kobuchisawa ★★★
"Hotel is small but clean. 2 onsen place is available. I stayed here because I want to go to Uchu Brewery. It is within a walking distance. It is amazing"
Wan Wan Paradise Yatsugatake ★★★★

"Convenient location close to mountains. Good for meeting with friends for hiking."
Pension Field
Livemax Resort Yatsugatake Highlands
"I stayed there without meals included. I arrived at night. The surrounding area is a villa area with no streetlights and it was pitch black. There were no signs or directions, so I relied on my car's navigation system to finally get there. The building was spacious and clean, and the room was also spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. The large public bath was also spacious and clean. The staff were foreigners, but they guided me politely. The only downside was that, although it was fine in my room, there was a sweet perfume or aromatherapy scent throughout the entire building, which I found unpleasant. It might be acceptable in a massage room, but I think it's better for accommodation to be odorless."
Wakamiro
"The hotel is dated, but well maintained and the staff are friendly."
Sanei-so
"The bath is good. The building is old but clean. There is a toilet in the room. Day trips are only available in the morning. Room meals are simple and light in taste. The only inn in Masutomi Onsen that accepts online reservations. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby. Newspapers are available. Online reservations fill up quickly. Staff come in at 6am to replace the rice bowls. TV only available on the ground floor. The toilet has a washlet, but it is a Japanese style, making it difficult to use. There is no air conditioning in the room, so it can be cold at times. There is a refrigerator. No service water."
Rakuten STAY VILLA Yatsugatake
"Perfect size for our group of 5 adults. House is spotless and looks new. The two bedrooms are just right for 5 people. We love the house furnishings, had a very relaxing time chilling the living room which was spacious and had a giant TV screen. Would love to stay again!"
