The Club Barbados Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

We stayed 3 days , Hotel was good , we love the test of food, over all good experiences thanks

We had the best time at the Club. The resort is very clean and the food and drinks were amazing. It’s an older property but very clean and well maintained. The beds and pillows were a little hard, but some folks like that. The beach area wasn’t a typical beach area but a great place to snorkel and enjoy the sea. Just a tiny stairway away, and you were on white sand beaches. Highly recommend The Club.

The food was very good and there was plenty of choice. The rooms were spacious and clean. They appeared short staffed as you could wait a while for service at the restaurant and at the bar which could be frustrating. There were rules round the pool but nothing adhered to and it became a free for all. Ie people leaving towels on beds all day and not being there most of it when it clearly says this is not allowed. Letting people play their own music with speakers disregarding others who wanted peace and quiet. The place was ok but I will not be returning.

One arrival the welcome and service was a put off. We were taken to our room and on arrival at the door they had two houses keeping carts at the door. On entering the apt we were so dissipointed with what we were getting our $2300 Canadian. We requested a room change which was done with hesitation. We were put in another room however it was a struggle for me as it's three flights up and no elevator. I can't climbing too many flights of stairs so been so tired and stressed took it. House keeping was a problem, both days room cleaning however no replacement towels. It was so dissapointing for the price paid for three days.

Pros:the staff in restaurants were very nice, food at menu restaurants was very good, nightly shows was nice except the last night. Cons: the hotel was very old a lots of steps every where we go and it is not handicap friendly at all there was no elevator at this hotel , there was a step in the gym also.The Buffett was very limited every day not a many options .The equipment at gym was so old and rusted so as in the shower in the room the curtain was so old and the rod was rusted.there was no sanded beach in front of hotel so we had to go the other side to use their sanded beach, because our hotel was very rocky . there was not enough help at the bars or breakfast area, so they were always behind . so with all this said as I told the receptionist at the check out ,I don't think I go back again.

Spent 5 days at the Club and would recommend looking at other locations. This resort is OLD and TIRED! The furniture in the rooms are just barely hanging on, the beds are horribly uncomfortable. All the chairs felt like they would collapse at any moment. The bathrooms are small and the showers are dark & dank. There is so much build up in the tiles would recommend wearing shower shoes. The resort is three floors with no elevator. The pools are small and dirty, everyday there was junk/gunk floating in them. The beach chairs are all dirty and mildewed. There is no pool bar. There was a daily schedule posted but rarely were any activities actually happening. The beach is non existent. There is a patch of sand on the cliff top with beach chairs, to get to the water is a singular rickety stair well right into the water. It’s very rocky all around so you have to be very careful. Food options are limited to buffet for all three meals and you have to make reservations for dinner every day for some reason. Then the food truck for lunch, but plan to wait at least 30-40 minutes or longer to get a meal as it’s one lady preparing each individual meal. Entertainment is lacking to karaoke singers both in the lounge and Piano Bar. They give two bottles of water at check in, then you have to purchase more in a gift shop that was barely open. If not for the $$ we would have changed resorts, but made the most just leaving daily. Will not return or recommend.

Staff are absolutely great, yes this is an older property but it has great sea views a beautiful beach a few steps away and a team that go over and above to make you enjoy yourself.

2nd trip to the club barbados, the staff are the highlight and very friendly. it is an older hotel with the caribbean charm so if this is what you like it is well worth it. the beach next door is great no direct beach but literally 10 steps away is a fantastic beach. you can swim in front of the hotel but it is quite stony. again great staff will be back.

The food was consistently great in each of the restaurants. Staff were friendly and could not have been more helpful.
