Shell Motel Hollywood

My first staying in motel, I do like the place manager awesome very very friendly the service excellent, Place very clean, takes two weeks to make my decision reads as much reviews about the place, mostly right on. Only one thing not to happy with the shower water pressure extremely extremely low in. To low. Other than that love the place. A+++++++++++.

Check-in was effortless, and Pierre was very welcoming and helpful, great location which was only over the road from the European supermarket and local cafe, and also had great transport links nearby, which was ideal for all the local amenities and attractions.

I chose Shell Motel for it's convenient location, excellent, ratings, and fair/moderate/affordable price. I was very pleased with my decision. Shell Motel has a 70s vibe. They even use physical keys (not key cards). The metal key on a hotel key chain is a nice change of pace. The hotel is kept immaculately clean and it's well maintained. It is not modern, by any means, but that is what gives it that down home old Florida country charm. The old bathroom tiles (pink and black ceramic) reminds me of my grandparents homed. The heated pool area is lovely. I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent room service. The rooms are cleaned daily (this is a rare find for motels). It's affordablly priced and convenient to a lot of nice restaurants and coffee shops. It's about two miles from Hollywood beach. There are some nice places nearby: Pink Cafe (Coffee and donuts) Bayla Chillilimon Fusion Taco Beach Shack I recommend it with confidence and am planning to come back.

Stay was one night close to FLL. Attendant was friendly. Our only issues - shower water was cold.

For the price, you can’t beat this place. Clean room and friendly staff and just a short drive to the beach.

A great place to stay. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and the location is great! Will book again in the future.

Was a nice, clean place to stay prior to an early morning flight. Host was very friendly and accommodating. A great alternative to staying at a chain hotel!

Staff/owner was SUPER friendly. It's nothing fancy, ( and make sure you bring your own toiletries) but it was CLEAN and convenient to get to both Ft. Lauderdale and Maimi (take the Brightline from Aventura station a few mins up the road). Was plenty of parking spots/street parking around - and we left a few times at all different hours. They even brought be extra pillows! I would def. recommend this motel to anyone travelling looking to avoid the crazy high prices of hotels in the area.

A great place to stay, Clean rooms, amenities and a great staff! Very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!
