Tropic Isle Hotel & Apartment

We’ve stayed atleast 7 or 8 times ..200 yards from the sand .. Chairs and umbrellas available !! The family apartment is great !! Very convenient to beach, restaurant and entertainment. Consider downloading “ the circuit app” to get around as a car is not necessary iat this location. Thanks Will for hosting us again.

I would rate my experience at 2 stars. While I appreciated that the room was clean and the air conditioning was new and functioned well, several issues impacted my stay. The kettle, microwave, and oven were not working. Additionally, while I appreciated the offer of free beach chairs, the ones provided were old and broken. I also found it difficult to get assistance, as the reception office frequently closed early or opened late. The highlight of the stay was the excellent proximity to the beach, which is only a few steps away. I would also note for future guests that nearby restaurants tend to be quite expensive.

Room was clean but a lot of very old fixtures and bathrooms had a lot of chipped paint TV at some point prior to our stay had been torn at the cord with prongs broken in plug . No effort from host upon notice to repair or replace TV therefore no functional equipment. Couch in living room had spring poking through material on cushion . Has to be careful not to sit there .

I do hate give it a bad review with the location being great with walking distance to the beach .we originally got their early and the manger was very nice who allowed us store our bags before are room was ready . The staff was very friendly. From first glance you can tell from living so close to the water it has token a toll on the building . When we walked in the main room was very clean and loved the new flooring . Than we went to the bathroom which honestly need a complete remodel. The plaster on the ceiling is falling apart their a lot of marks and just looks crappy . Originally I was going market it a higher score but we notice while lovle distance to the boardwalk with the window you can hear from the other side of the building and people talking all night long . This hotel/ motel caters to family with even offering crib in some rooms so you think it be better noise control . The main reason for the low rating is the bathroom though , on the morning of check out we had found a crock roach in the bathroom . If we had found before we definitely would have moved , will say did not see any other sign of any in the rest of the apartment but until they fix do not stay in apartment 2

This is an old motel with a great proximity to the beach and boardwalk. Fixing the stained dripped AC units on exterior and overall curb apeal would help a ton. It may help improve the clientele which is a bit shaky. If booking in advance, make sure to get in writing when requesting a certain room. A few rooms are bigger with partial ocean views at a low price.

As we were going to be arriving after the office closed at 5pm I had to complete the check in over the phone. Will was very helpful and friendly but wanted me to send a photo of my credit card, something that I was not going to do, but he took the numbers eventually via telephone call. Having an office for a hotel that closes at 5pm is not ideal. After this process he sent me a code for our room door. On arrival we did manage to park in the very small car park. But the room was very old and in very poor condition and dirty. We had booked the family room and clearly stated several times that there would be 6 adults, when we arrived we had to go searching for the sheets for the sofa bed and luckily I had blankets in the car as there were not any provided for the extra bed, and in January it is not always warm. We also had to use pillows from the other beds, please don't advertise the room can sleep 6 when it is not really set up for 6. Especially with only 4 towels. We were only staying one night but we wouldn't have stayed any longer. We left early the following morning and I had to send another text as the office was not yet open. Maybe removing the hotel element of the name would manage expectations of guests, due to the lack of any kind of front desk.

Clean rooms. Outdated in the most perfect way. Beachy retro. Amazing location. Snag it when you can. Perfect for a family get away or quick couples weekend or girls weekend! Easy check in and check out.
