SsavagekatBasic room for the price to be honest. Great location but everything else very basic.
Strange design with shower on one side and toilet on the other and the sink in the bedroom. So you will def wake your bf or gf up..If you need to go to the bathroom your partner will definitely hear you as it's just a glass door. I left my jacket there and no one ever answers the phone so I left a msg with sister hotel and of course no one ever got back to me. Kinda annoyed. You are better off spending your money else where. There's some homeless hanging outside at the front sometimes

EEmilyI just returned from a wonderful vacation at Solar Dos Poetas, and I can’t say enough good things about my stay! The location is absolutely amazing, nestled in a picturesque area that made exploring the sights a breeze. Everything I wanted to see in the city was either within walking distance or just a short trip away.
One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness. The team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their local recommendations were spot on and really enhanced my experience.
Breakfast was another fantastic part of my visit! Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious spread that included fresh pastries, fruits, and a variety of options that catered to different tastes. It was the perfect start to my day and gave me the energy I needed for my adventures.
Overall, Solar Dos Poetas exceeded all my expectations. With its exceptional location, outstanding customer service, and delightful breakfast, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again! Highly recommended!

Mmoke899I chose a room with a bathroom, which is actually the master bedroom of the house. It's quite spacious and has everything. The location is also very good. There is a subway station downstairs, and there are many supermarkets, restaurants, etc. nearby. The kitchen at home is also very easy to use and has everything. The parking situation is not clear. It may not be easy to park on the main road. Comparing the beds in the youth hostels nearby, the price was about twice as high as that in the youth hostels, but they were much more comfortable and comfortable, so I decided to change and did not continue to stay in the youth hostels. Although the landlord is not good at speaking English, he is still very enthusiastic about using translation software to communicate and help. Thank you very much. All in all, it is a very cost-effective choice. If you feel uncomfortable staying in a youth hostel, this is a good choice and highly recommended. (Note that the owner has more than one house, so different house types may not be in the same location. The two houses are not too far apart on foot for four or five minutes. Since there was no phone call in advance and the language was not well understood, the location on the map It’s just one of them, but it’s not where I live, so it doesn’t matter if I wait for a while. The specific arrangement is subject to the landlord’s arrangement)

GGuest UserIn terms of location: I would give 12/10. It does get busy but we were happy we selected this hotel as a first time traveller. Tram station is right outside the hotel. Lady at the reception was very helpful. She gave us lot of tips on Dos and Dont's. Ensuite bathroom is small but you are welcome to use the shared bathroom which was nice and clean. There is a small kitchen incase you want to heat up your meal or anything.
Only compalin I had was the Aircon: it felt like it was not working properly and the room didin;t have any fans. We were luck it was not THAT hot but in peak summer I would have my own fan to get the ventilation going. Apart from this I would rate the overall stay as 8/10

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location near the Green Metro Stop. Room is spacious with aircon and tv. We had a lovely night. They also let you leave your baggages in case you plan to go around a bit more in the city.
