Nick001The place was very clean and the staff were kind, polite, and spoke English well. They explained everything clearly from the beginning and gave me a full tour of the property. There is a dining area, and before taking the elevator, you need to change your shoes. Each guest has a room number and should place their shoes in the matching shoe rack.
I recommend adding the hotel’s Line account — they will send all the details there. No key is needed to access the room; everything is done using codes. The room is spacious and has a large locker for storage. The shared bathroom was clean and fully equipped with essentials like a toothbrush and towels (including small ones). There is also a modern laundry area that connects two parts of the building through the same door — it feels like one place, not two.
It’s about a 5-minute walk from the BTS station, which is very convenient.
The only downside is that the entrance was confusing when I first arrived. The map pin showed a laundromat, but the actual entrance is on the back side of the building.
Overall, a great stay. I recommend it.

Guest UserGreat room. Very spacious and nice design. Only problem is soundproofing to the corridor. Fridge quite noisy, but I just unplugged it at night. Big bonus is the laundry facilities, which are free apart from NT 30 for detergent from reception. Dryers were slow, but can't complain as it was free. Lots of nice food places nearby, although the peanut place just round the corner always had massive queues so I never tried it even though it looked amazing. There's an food recommendation map in the lifts, so that's helpful.

The accommodation is decent, but there aren't many dining options nearby. If you don't have high expectations and just want a place to sleep for the night, it's a reasonably affordable choice.

Thomas1789The information provided online is a little misleading. There is no reception of “check in hours.” You are required to call a number or scan a QR to contact someone to receive check in information. This is a little inconvenient. Additionally, breakfast is provided but it is in the form of vouchers which need to be exchanged at a cafe 20 minute walk away. The check in information along with information on breakfast, WiFi, check out etc. Could have easily been provided via email or private message before arrival to make the process easier. The location however and room quality, cleanliness and amenities is first class and great value for money!

Sound insulation is not very good, the sound of the door downstairs will feel the floor of the room will also vibrate. The location is convenient, the room is clean, the bathtub is very good. It takes a long time to take a bath. The box on the TV cannot be opened and the program cannot be watched.

Because of bugs at home, we needed to thoroughly disinfect the place, so I booked a temporary hotel for my family. However, since we had bugs at home, we had to leave, but I didn't expect the hotel to have cockroaches too! 🤣 But the price was reasonable and the location was good, so for that price, it was pretty good.

Guest UserWhen I booked this hotel, I didn't realise that there is no lift and my room is on the 4th floor, which creates a lot of inconvenience, especially when you are carrying a heavy suitcase.
I also paid extra for a balcony room, however the balcony in my room is so narrow that you can't even go out.
The bathroom was very dated and smelly, I guess it's due to the drainage system of the building.
The worse part is the air conditioning, I have my suitcase opened underneath the air con, when I woke up on our last day, water was dripping out from the air con and items in suitcase were all wet. It was a terrible experience and I would not stay in that place again.

MeisanyaAlthough the hotel's check-in time is 3 p.m., they allowed me to check in early. Traveling from the airport to the hotel is relatively easy by taxi or subway. The view from the room is stunning. It is very convenient to travel around Kaohsiung. There are many 7-Elevens and Family Marts nearby.

I stayed at the Traveler's Lodge Liuhe branch this time, and the biggest plus was definitely the location. You're right at the Liuhe Night Market, making it super convenient for late-night food runs, and it's not far from Formosa Boulevard Station either. The room was pretty clean, and while the facilities were basic, they had everything you needed, so it was a comfortable stay overall. It's more of an old-style guesthouse, though, and there's no elevator, which could be a bit tough if you have a lot of luggage. But for the price, it's totally acceptable. It's perfect if you're just looking for a convenient, affordable place to crash for the night. I'd consider staying here again if I come back to the night market.
