Qingtian Homestays

"We loved our weekend stay here as a quiet and green nature getaway from Shanghai (3hr train ride). We arrived late in the evening, but the provided taxi service from Qingtian was great (40mins, 80rmb). Our host Nancy was so sweet, spoke great English, made us wonderful coffees and even took us on a little tour of the village and vegetable gardens. The accomodation is in a small village with 500yo houses, where mostly elderly people still live. We went on two nice 2-3hrs hikes, to the waterfalls and temple and towards another village. Food was great too: lovely rice flake porridge and many other things for breakfast, free tea and snacks, and in the evening we got a lovely noodle soup. Our lastminute vegetarian request was easily accomodated. Bed and shower were lovely and a good heater was provided to warm the room. Would definitely recommend, we hope to come back in spring to see the flower fields!"

"It is very suitable for bringing children over to play. Let me talk about the rooms first. Three rooms have slides and tents. The bright slide is the largest and there are building blocks in the room; there is a swing in Zhengjue. The bed in the attic is a bit hot, the air conditioner is not enough, and the room is not equipped with mineral water. Breakfast is white porridge, bread, corn, eggs, and some vegetables. Let’s talk about the supporting facilities. Next to the B&B is the Green Bay Villa, Tyre Kingdom, and an expansion base. There are farmhouses and barbecues, so you can enjoy eating and drinking."
