205 km north-west of Rovaniemi, L.Äkäsjärvi 30 m (length 15 km, width 2 km), shallow shore, stony bottom, jetty, own boat. Shore shared with other cottage. Planed log cottage (one half of semi-detached house unit) on 3 floors, built in 1996. Downstairs: sauna, washroom, large lounge, convertible sofa/bed in lounge, terrace. Middle floor: living room/kitchen, bedroom double bed, bedroom 1 bed, balcony. On the sleeping loft (steep stairs) 3 beds. Two fridges. Note! For additional price will be available 60 m² of additional space and 5 beds. The additional space will cost 25% more (cost is added on top of the normal price). If you want to book this additional space, please make reservation by phone/e-mail. NOTICE: Not in use October 2023-May 2024. Further information about the additonal space: Downstairs is another living area with an alcove (sliding door) with 2 beds and toilet. In addition, on the loft there is another section with three beds more. These facilities are locked, if the customer does not booked them for an extra cost. Note! If you book the additional space and you want to pay for the final cleaning, is the cleaning price for whole area 200 € Spacious cottage on shore of large lake in hilly (fell) part of Lapland. Campfire place and lean-to on shore (in shared use). Several fells and ski resorts easily accessible. Area offers wide range of hobbies and sports. Ski trail and snowmobile trail nearby. Good fishing and hunting opportunities (note: licences). Ylläs-Pallastunturi National Park starts on other side of lake. Olostunturi 16 km, Pallas 23 km, Levi 37 km, Ylläs 36 km. Upstairs: Living room with sofa bed, kitchenette, bedroom (no door) with 2 beds, a balcony. Ground floor: master bedroom with bunk bed, sauna (electric stove), bathroom, separate toilet. Quite steep stairs. A well-equipped cottage for active people in Olostunturi. Ski tracks and runs next door. The nearest neighbour cottage (5 m). Pallastunturi 25 km, Levi and Ylläs 55 km. Muonio center 6,5 km, border crossing to Sweden 8 km. Muonio River 8 km. Final cleaning is included in the price. Note! One pet is allowed stay in cottage downstairs.

Kätkä is a peacefully located holiday cabin with amenities by the lake. Lakeside sauna and good sand beach. The salmon fishing spots of Muonionjoki and the state owned hunting areas are easily accessible. 27 km to the north from Muonio municipality center, lake Kätkäjärvi 25 m (length 2,7 km, width 0,7 km), shallow beach with sand bottom, own rowing boat. The cabin is built of planed logs. On the ground floor, living room / kitchen, bedroom with double bed, washroom/WC and covered terrace. On the upper floor, 2 beds, another is 120 cm wide, balcony. In addition, one extra mattress that can be placed in different places. Lakeside sauna with steam room and dressing room. Sauna is equipped with wood-burning sauna stove and water tank connected to the sauna stove. The tank will be used for water heating. Water to the sauna must be brought from the lake (10 m) or from the cabin (20 m) by using a bucket. Outdoor hut with campfire site. Distance to the river Muonionjoki is less than a kilometer. River Muonionjoki is a tributary of Torne river, which is the longest salmon river in Europe. Good possibilities for salmon fishing, other fish species are sea trout and grayling. Fishing area: 2502 Tornionjoki -Muonionjoki – Könkämäeno (www.eraluvat.fi) Fishing in lakes is usually permitted with fisheries management fee. One fishing rod can be used. More information see www.eraluvat.fi With Finnish Forest Administration’s (Metsähallitus) angling permit for Western Lapland you are also allowed to fish in state owned rapids (www.eraluvat.fi). Small game hunting areas: 2602 Muonio and 1614 Hetta-Karesuvanto (www.eraluvat.fi). A snowmobile trail is located on the opposite shore of the lake. The snowmobile trail (Victoria trail, continuing to Kilpisjärvi) running parallel the Swedish border is easily accessible.
