Enjoying the coast in Cullen, Moray is this Victorian, three-storey house of Crannoch Self Catering.Formerly the Crannoch Hotel, this wonderful property can sleep up to eighteen people, making for a fantastic setting for a large family break.Upon arrival, you will be pleased to find ample private parking for six to ten vehicles, before making your way inside.There are several areas for you to relax in within the property, with one of these being a spacious living/dining room boasting a bar area and seating for all the group, another being a charming snug for those seeking an intimate spot to unwind, and the other consisting of a games room which also offers a fabulous bar area; these marvellous spaces allow for an abundance of much-needed quality time with your loved ones!Progress through the property to come across a kitchen/diner, the space features stylish, monochrome cabinetry which houses several appliances that the chef of the group can rustle up homecooked delights with.These delights can be savoured at the adjacent breakfast table for four people, in the living/dining room or in the formal dining room; there is plenty of choice here!Just off the kitchen you can also find a handy utility/pantry which offers laundry facilities, so you can keep your holiday wardrobe clean throughout your stay.When night falls, choose one of nine bedrooms to retire to, with seven of these sitting on the first floor, including: two well-presented doubles with en-suite shower rooms, three more doubles, one with a TV and another with a basin, along with two more singles, the first offering a basin and a TV, and the latter containing a basin.The first floor also hosts two handy shower rooms, where you can wash those sandy toes after a day along Cullen's picturesque shores.Climb the stairs again to the second floor, where two more well-appointed doubles can be found, as well as an additional shower room.To the rear of the property lies a quaint, gravelled garden that is not only home to handy storage for your beach gear, but to a bubbling hot tub; perfect for those days where you need to relax your muscles after ample walking or cycling along the coast!Being in the centre of Cullen means you have the advantage of an array of shops and eateries waiting on your doorstep, whilst the stunning Cullen Beach, viewpoints of Castle Hill and Nelson's Seat, along with the Cullen Links Golf Club all sit moments away.Walk the Cullen Bay & Portknockie Path to Portknockie, a coastal village offering access to the trails of Jenny Well's and Portknockie Cliffs, along with access to Portknockie Harbour with its open-air swimming pool.Venture inland to find the historic town of Elgin, where tours of the magnificent remains of Elgin Cathedral, Elgin Museum and the Moray Motor Museum can be enjoyed; the town additionally rests within reach of Spynie Palace and Duffus Castle, so you can really immerse yourself in the local history during your break.The towns of Banff, Macduff and Lossiemouth aren't far and offer even more coastal fun, whilst the delights of Fochabers, Keith and Forres can be found further inland, with their array of historic sights and country walks.For your next adventure in Moray, be sure to book a stay at the marvellous Crannoch Self CateringAbout pets:Pets allowed: dogs (limit 4 total).About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

Seaspray is a traditional stone built fisherman’s cottage in the conservation village of Portknockie on the north east coast of Scotland. It’s light and bright yet a cosy retreat from those refreshing salty coastal winds. Although quaint to look at from the outside, inside it is tardis-like with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. A small but pretty back garden allows you to enjoy the premises from the outside too.The spaceOnce through the original and characterful double front door, a hallway with slate floor has plenty of hanging space for your belongings. Off this is the newly decorated master bedroom and en-suite, a family bathroom and living room with log burning stove and large corner sofa. The living room leads in to the bright and airy kitchen, with slate floor and underfloor heating.Upstairs is a third toilet, twin room and two further double bedrooms.A cot with bassinet option is available if required and can be prepared in a room of your choice.There is tv in the living room and master bedroom. Both receive Freeview and in the living room an Amazon Firestick allows streaming from channels of your choice such as Netflix or PrimeVideo. Both can also be connected to a smart device with an AV cable (one is provided). There is unlimited broadband and a Sonos speaker too.The back garden is thoughtfully planted and looks pretty with colour and interest throughout the year.
