AAllgoOhana has some good things about it, and could be a good retreat with some investment. I booked a Deluxe room for one night and checked out the Apartment because I wanted to stay there long-term (thanks to the gym proximity), but the A/Cs were very weak, so I couldn't extend my stay into the Apartment, and the Deluxe room was too small and uncomfortable for laptop work. Pros: - Away from the street and pretty quiet for now (though there's a construction site right next to it, see rooftop photo) - Nice bamboo-lined entrance after you open the gate with the security code - More comfortable beds than in 8/9 other places I've stayed in Bali so far. Not Tempurpedic or anything that fancy, but softer (perhaps a memory foam topped over a coil mattress). - Only 5 minutes walk to the best gym in the area (”WRONG” gym) - The room was clean, the towels smelled very nice, but the glasses looked dirty - Pretty good light blocking curtains - Insect mesh on the windows! This is such a common-sense feature, but it was the first time I saw in Bali, after staying at 5 hotels/resorts, 1 villa, and 3 rooms at PARQ Ubud - Nice (for the area) rooftop views, with beautiful sunsets - Helpful staff assisted with carrying luggage - There's a small communal kitchen with a microwave and utensils you can use - Nice (but unpopulated) rooftop bar area Cons: - The street entrance is a construction war zone, with garbage and everything (see photos) - Not just the A/C in my room, but both split A/C units in the Apartment, were VERY weak (so 3 units in total). The A/C in my small room only managed to drop the temperature by 2.5C (4.5F) during the 2 hours of running at maximum (loudest) fan speed (28.6 -> 26.2 / 83.5F -> 79F, see digital thermometer/CO2 sensor photos). Staff told me they could call engineering to take a look, but the facilities/appliances were old (the subtext being, don't have much hope). - The chair was more of a torture device than a chair. Who in their right mind would buy anything like that except perhaps for a ”DO NOT DESIGN FURNITURE LIKE THIS” exhibit? - Only one power outlet for the desk/chair area, occupied with the WiFi router, so I had to plug my laptop into the bathroom power outlet - No water provided. Staff told me to go to a minimart. The closest one walking north was Circle K, and the walk is the typical stressful walk in Canggu, with scooters and cars parked on the sidewalk, construction all over the place, and the frequent lack of pavement - The place was advertised as a coliving on Colivings, but there were maybe a total of 2 other guests there, and no sense of community whatsoever. - The floating beds looked dirty (see photos) - Due to the height of the pool, it's only exposed to sunshine until about 2pm - The Apartment has an odd choice of 4 chairs around a table instead of a couch, and no microwave or toaster or blender in the kitchen. Good light blocking curtains in the bedroom though, and its view is relatively private when the curtains are pulled open.

GGuest UserOne of the best guesthouses I've stayed in Bali! The villa is in excellent condition - everything is clean, tidy, you can feel that the place is really looked after. I'd especially like to mention the owner - incredibly attentive and caring. He was always in touch, helped with any questions and made you feel like you were in good hands. A nice bonus was the generator, which automatically turns on when the power goes out - this happens quite often in Bali, and it's nice that they took care of it in advance. Overall, the atmosphere is very calm, ideal for rest or work. I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserA Hidden Gem in the Heart of Bali—A Truly Memorable Stay at Omatha Village I rarely write reviews this detailed, but my stay at Omatha Village in Denpasar, Bali, truly deserves one. What started as a short 4-day family getaway turned into a 14-day memorable experience—all thanks to the warmth, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality of the staff, especially MEGHA. Omatha Village, nestled in a serene and rustic part of Bali, offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, making it an ideal destination for families like mine seeking to recharge and reconnect. The environment is lush, calm, and beautifully maintained. Every corner of the property gives off an authentic Balinese charm blended with home-like comfort. But what sets Omatha Village apart is the incredible team led by MEGHA. From the moment we arrived, Megha welcomed us with genuine warmth and a calm professionalism that immediately put us at ease. She's knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly courteous. Whenever we had a question, request, or even a minor issue, MEGHA consistently proactively provided solutions, often before we had fully explained the situation. It's uncommon to encounter someone who exemplifies leadership so effortlessly. MEGHA’s entire team reflects her spirit—humble, responsive, and genuinely caring. I’ve stayed in many places across countries and continents, but the hospitality shown here is among the best I’ve experienced. Initially, I had booked only four nights, unsure of what to expect. But it didn’t take long to realize that this place was something special. Because of the outstanding service and the peaceful vibe of the resort, I extended our stay for another 10 days, and MEGHA handled it seamlessly with zero stress. To Megha and the entire team at Omatha Village—thank you for making our Bali experience so smooth, relaxing, and memorable. Your efforts made a real difference for my family, and we carry those positive memories with us. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a family-friendly, peaceful, and heartwarming stay in Bali. 🌿🌺

GGuest UserThere were no towels in my room, so had to go & ask for them. At the pool I had to go into a lock up to look for a sunbed cushion, staff should be more proactive in offering cushions. I asked at the pool for a pool towel, they were surprised I didn't have any in my room, they got on the walkie talkie & asked for some for me, 6 hours later the pool towels hadn't arrived, so I went to reception myself to ask for them. My room was cleaned & no clean towels were left, I gave them the benefit of the doubt & left it a few hours, hoping they'd bring towels, but no, I had to once again go to reception for towels. A nice touch would be staff coming to your sunbed to ask if you want food or drink. The restaurant could do with a roll down wall, a barrier from the elements for times when the wind & rain are prevalent. It's not fun being blown about & getting wet when you're trying to negotiate your food. The rooms are lovely, I had an outside bathroom, which was very special. One issue is the ceiling, there's always bits of dirt or bugs falling onto the bed from the ceiling. The fan in my room didn't work, there was also a light out, but I just left it, I didn't want to keep complaining. Most of the food was delicious & presented very well. I tried vegetable soup, which was basically lots of uncooked veg in a vegetable bouillon, not my idea of soup, I didn't take too well to the spaghetti bolognese either, i didnt like the taste of it. I'm not sure what they wash the fruit & salad in, but it didn't taste very nice & tasted of chemicals, suffice to say I couldn't eat it. The staff are friendly & ready to help. I didn't realise the hotel had a driver to do trips, they should be informing people of this, I booked a driver from outside & would of preferred to pay the hotel driver. The surroundings/gardens are beautiful & so is the pool area. Beach sellers are a pain, you could be led on sunbed or eating a meal & they still harass you, one even sneaked up the stairs from the beach, staying just out of the view of hotel staff.

HHlaingHad a great stay! Room was big for the price, clean, and smelled fresh. Super convenient spot, close to spas, restaurants, local shows, art street, and markets. We loved walking around in the evenings. Staff was friendly, and the balcony gave off peaceful, nature vibes even though you’re right in the city. Just make sure to keep food covered ants can show up since it’s near the forest. Side note: no hair dryer provided n bring your own travel adapter as Indonesia using EU type power plug.

BBUSBYHad a great experience here at Pandi's (the owner's) place. You have your own room with a balcony and you are surrounded in a family environment. She always makes sure you have everything you need and will set up tours for you, no need to go through the hustle from outside vendors.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the very center of Ubud away from the noisy streets. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. However, be prepared for crowds of people and constant traffic jams in the center. I had a room on the top floor, the view was great. There is a table on the terrace to sit in the evening. The room itself is not bad, but in places it needs repair, although this is not visible in the photo. I did not really like the bathroom. The sink is small and not very comfortable. The shower is fixed and not adjustable. In general, for this kind of money in the center it will do, but do not expect anything chic.

GGuest UserThe standard room has an AC according to trip.com, but in fact it only has a fan. But I wont blame the hotel, because I have the strong feeling trip used a.g.o.d.a as a third party and put the wrong information. The view from our room was very nice, and we had the banana pancake for breakfast that was excellent. It is a good accomodation for the price and I would recommend it. But next time I would choose a room with AC

IIrine IrineI’m a very picky person, but I loved this place right away! 😍 The room is super clean, spacious, cozy, with its own Wi-Fi and great air-con. 🛏️ The bed is big, super comfortable, and perfect for a good rest — I slept really well here. 😴 All the furniture looks new and fresh, nothing old or worn out — renovation feels recent, the floor is spotless and everything looks very neat. ✨ Beautiful view and calm atmosphere — very comfortable and relaxing. 🌿 Perfect location for freediving, just 5 minutes to several schools. 🌊 Restaurants, a spa, and a supermarket are all nearby. 🍽️ The owners (a lovely couple) are very friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. 💕 Whatever you ask for — they arrange it quickly and with care. 🙌 The wife cooks delicious homemade food at fair prices. 🍛 Since Gojek/Grab don’t work on Nusa Penida, they help arrange transport via WhatsApp — always reliable and not overpriced. 🚗 I did notice a few tiny spots on the bed sheet and towels, but honestly, compared to many Bali hotels where stains are big and old, this was nothing serious. 😅 Everything still felt clean, fresh, and well-kept. 🧺 Cons: cleaning must be requested, towels and toilet paper not replaced automatically. 🧻 Hot water lasts only up to 5 minutes, then becomes just warm. 🚿 WhatsApp service only works until 10 PM. 📱 There’s noise both early in the morning (around 8:30 AM) and again in the evening (around 5–7 PM) from a nearby gym, plus roosters in the morning. 🐓🎶 ✅ Pros: clean, cozy, new furniture, comfy big bed, fresh renovation, beautiful view, super helpful owners, great food, perfect freediving location, fair prices. ⚠️ Cons: short hot water (5 min max), morning & evening noise, small stains (minor), limited service hours. Still, for the price, comfort, and location — this place is awesome! 💖 Highly recommend!❤️🔥
