This one room log cabin is located in a small woodland campground (Camp Earth Connection) and is adjacent to the Hammond Hill State Forest with 20 miles of trails for hiking, biking and skiing. Campground facilities include a shower house with hot showers and clean compost toilets and a community pavilion with a Ping Pong table. WiFi is available in the main camp area. The cabin has a full size bed and bunk beds sleeping up to 4 people. It has a mini fridge, a microwave, and an electric hot water kettle. This is a drug and alcohol free facility. Camp Earth Connection provides a space for catching a "natural high." Experience the natural world and all the beauty and wisdom it has to offer. Check in available from 4pm-8pm. Please note, this is a "Tiny House" and it is designed to be environmentally efficient. We ask that guests be conscientious about water use as well as recycling and composting. The odor free compost toilet does require some maintenance which you will be taught during orientation. The Tiny House has high speed WiFi, electric stove top, microwave, mini-fridge, kitchen sink, wooden table, eating and cooking utensils, hot shower and compost toilet as well as other amenities. The cabin has AC and is heated. As mentioned, in order to get to the bedroom you must climb up a short ladder to the loft. The loft has a low ceiling and angled roof, which is shorter on the sides. My son is 6'3" and he has lived in the tiny house and found it comfortable.
