This quintessential Southern retreat is located in the the historic Belhaven neighborhood. It is one block from Milsaps College and a short distance from Belhaven University. The Jackson hospitals of UMMC, VA Hospital, MS Baptist, St Dominics and Methodist Rehab are almost within walking distance (1-3 miles). The state capitol, state agency office HQ's and multiple museums are easily accessible. The Fondren entertainment district is also a short distance away. This is a quiet neighborhood featuring sidewalks and old growth trees and manicured lawns. All the homes are decades old and well maintained. Nice older historic home with renovations. You’ll find either the front porch or back deck very relaxing. Two bedrooms with very comfortable beddings you’ll sleep like a baby. The kitchen is fully stocked with silverware, dishes, pots/pans, Keurig, refrigerator, oven and microwave. There are three TVs with Roku to enjoy your favorite movies/ shows. I also add a piano for musicians. For the price I would say don’t expect Ritz-Carlton stay but it’s very nice and clean.
