Par 3 Golf is available less than a mile away, and Oak Island Golf is just 3 miles, by Caswell Beach.There are many area restaurants, but the condo is located next door to the very highly rated restaurant, Joseph's Italian Bistro. Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is a 2 minute stroll, with sunset views from their expanded deck and Tiki Bar.A 6 mile drive takes you to historic downtown Southport, where you can amble through the many Boutiques & Antique Shops, Southport Market, Bakeries, Craft Beer and Wine Bars. Visit the Maritime Museum, or lounge in a swing chair on the lawn while watching the Cape Fear River boat traffic. Take a sunset cruise...highly recommended, and maybe a Ghost Tour in Southport! If you are a thrill seeker, you might be tempted to try a skydive experience, which is available 5 minutes away. *We can sleep up to 6 - See note below*Carolina Tides is a modern, two-bedroom, two-bath beach villa located on Oak Island NC. We have a well-supplied kitchen, cable TV, WiFi, washer / dryer, direct beach access, seasonal swimming pool & hot tub (seasonal, April 15 thru October 15), elevator, free parking and much more. This villa is an end-unit on the quiet side with lots of natural light. Our complex is in the perfect "vacation location", directly across from the new Yaupon Beach Fishing Pier, Koko Cabana bar and restaurant, and the Lazy Turtle Bar and Grille just a block away. Also, less than a mile to the East is Oak Island Golf Club and their new Duffer's Pub and Grille. Enjoy palm trees and beach views right from your porch. There is also a shared outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Oak Island Lighthouse is about a three mile walk along the beach to the East. Just off the island is the beautiful and historic town of Southport, NC. *PLEASE NOTE: 1) Our HOA prohibits boats, trailers and golf carts on the property. We apologize if this is an issue but we are unable to accommodate any type of trailer. 2) We have a pull-out Queen-sized couch and can sleep up to 6 guests. However, our linen contract only provides for the two bedrooms and 4 guests. If your party has up to 6 guests, you can use the pull-out couch but you will need to bring your own queen sized linens, pillow cases and bath towels for the additional guests above 4.
